Shiraishi could not do it anymore. He could not kiss the girl he took a liking to when there were spectators spying on them. Seriously, why did the baka pair have to appear now? Of all the chance they can get to disturb his moments, they chose this one? Anyone with a rational mind would stay quiet and watch it play out in silence! 

When Chinami opened her eyes, Shiraishi was no longer close to her face and he covered his face out of embarrassment with his hands. What happened? Did something happen? And why were the baka pair picking leaves out of their hair? 

"Kurarin, I am so sorry! Yuu-kun was molesting me on the branch!" Koharu explained, "Don't worry, we'll get out of the way now, you can continue what you were going to do!" 

'Why were they on the branch to start with?' Chinami wondered to herself as she watched Koharu explain himself to Shiraishi. 

"How can I do such a thing now?!" Shiraishi shouted, "I can't do it anymore! You've put me off!" 

"Sorry, Shiraishi..." Yuuji apologized to him.

"Go to sleep already!" 

Chinami was very confused and Shiraishi can see the confusion on her face when the baka pair went back to their own tent. Shiraishi lightly scratched his face and then he let out a nervous laughter, "I'm sorry about that." 

"Hm?" 

"The moment was ruined and I'm too embarrassed to keep it going. Do you mind keeping this moment a secret?" 

"I don't know what you did though." 

"You don't need to know. Just keep it a secret." 

"Okay. Are you sure you are okay?" 

"I am sure." He was disappointed by the timing but seeing her worry about him made him a little happy, "Don't look at me when you're this cute." He started to pat her on the head when she kept looking at him with such a worried face.

"I'm not doing anything though." 

"You're so innocent..." 

She had no idea what he was talking about but she was fine with that. 

"You know what, Buchou? I really like this trip. I'm really starting to like the tennis club." 

"Eh? Does that mean you didn't like us at first?!" 

"Honestly, I didn't like any of you at the time. Especially you." 

"Chinami!" He couldn't believe what he was hearing! "Is it because I saw your panties twice?!" 

"Don't shout it out!" She slapped his head with the paper fan, making him wince. "It's in the past. Now, I really like you guys. I'm very glad I met you and everyone." 

"Oh..." He was very to hear that from her lips, "Hey, can I hear you say it to me?" 

"Say what?" 

"That you like me." 

"I like you, Buchou." If only she can see the arrow of love shooting its way into his heart. She can see he turned his back to her, trying to stop trembling out of joy and excitement. "Buchou? Uh...when you're done being stupid, go to sleep." 

"Ah...you go ahead." 

"Goodnight." Chinami looked at him weirdly before making her way back to the tent. "Why is he shaking like he's about to explode?" She hasn't a single clue why he's being like that at all. "Is he that happy that I like him and the others?"

A very young Chinami can hear sobs in her Dad's room. She curiously peeped at him to see why he was crying and she saw that he was holding a photo frame of his dearest wife.
