♥34♥ It hurts...

"Chitose is skipping school again?" Osamu asked Kenya. "I know he is talented in his own rights but still...what about Chinami?" Chitose and Chinami hasn't stepped a single foot in Shitenhouji and Osamu was getting in trouble with the vice-principle because of it.

"He's...worried about Chinami. Please don't blame him, I was the one to tell him to stay behind." Kenya reasoned with Osamu. Each passing day was getting worse and worse for Chinami. Kenya was worried she will do something crazy if she's left alone at home. Kenya wanted to be the one to stay home but his parents will fly back from their trip to kill him if he skipped a day from school. Chitose on the other hand had no problems with skipping school, his parents didn't really mind about it as long as he came back home with good grades.

She's not motivated to do anything, she eats very little, she doesn't sleep much, and she's very quiet most of the time that it would scare Kenya.

Kenya looked over at Shiraishi, worried about him. He nodded his head at Osamu and quickly went over to Shiraishi.

"How is she...?" Shiraishi asked.

"She looks awful. Shiraishi, come back. She has been like that since you left."

"I can't."

"Why not? If it's Chinami, I know she will forgive you."

"It's myself that I can't forgive." Shiraishi has hurt her with the worse words possible. He can't see himself being accepted back into her life. "She doesn't need someone who said such horrible things to her. I told her how I felt pointless to get her out of that house, Kenya, it's too late for me..." 

"You don't mean it though!" Kenya understood that under normal circumstances, Shiraishi would never ever say such venomous words to her. "She needs you, Shiraishi...you know that."

"The one she needs the most is you, Kenya. The way she is now, she needs you the most. I have to choose this path, it's the only one for me to take..."

"Shiraishi..." Usually it's Kenya the one being jealous of Shiraishi's popularity with girls but it's clear there's a role reversal here.

Kenya then noticed Zaizen coming back from the water fountain.

"What?" Was Zaizen's first question when he felt Kenya looking at him.

"Please come back to Chinami."

"I refuse."

"Zaizen, she's getting worse and worse each day! I need you and Shiraishi to make up with her again!"

"I don't want to. I don't feel that she cares about me, why should I care about someone who doesn't care about me?" Zaizen asked Kenya with hints of controlled anger in his voice.

"You know you are lying! Chinami does care about you! You know that!"

"No, I don't."

"What do you want her to do, Zaizen?! She tried to apologize to you!"

"She is just apologizing because she doesn't want to be alone, it doesn't mean she really cares about me. Just leave me alone!"

"Kenya, stop it. Let's just calm down and settle this argument with nagashi soumen-" Osamu couldn't go far because Zaizen stopped him.

"I don't care what happens to Chinami, please stop shoving her existence right in my face!"

"What did you say?! How dare you!"

"Hey! Don't start fighting!" Osamu and everyone tried their best to separate the Speed Star and Tensai...
