Very scared and alone, Chinami wandered the forest with no sense of direction as to where her next destination should be; left and right will lead her to an unknown path of confusion. What should she do? She couldn't call the others because of her missing cell phone...

"What if they all went home...?" 

"Nya~!" A black cat happily rubbed its head against Chinami's leg, making her soul nearly slip away due to being scared close to death. 

Chinami calmed herself when the cat meowed with intentions of getting her attention. She smiled at the friendly cat and she patted his head. "Good cat, good cat...are you here to keep me company? Where is your owner?" 

"Nya!" The cat ran ahead, looking over its shoulder to call for Chinami to follow it when she didn't follow him. 

"Huh? Eh? Wait for me!" Chinami chose to follow the cat since she's worried about being alone; an animal's attention was better than being all alone and confused. 

Chasing after the cat reminded Chinami of her chasing after the wandering Chitose, who would take his time to wander off from time to time when she first began her job as a Manager for the team. It made her giggle that his sandals' noise were the reason why she's always able to find him. Speaking of Chitose, Chinami still felt really thankful to him; he showed her there was hope beyond the darkness of fear, he showed her she still have a reason to continue living when she tried to give up. She wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him reminding her to live... 

The taller member of the team may have quit, but Chinami still treated him as if he had never left the team. She was sad he left the team; even now, she still didn't agree with him leaving, but she will support in his decisions if that was what he wanted.

The cat ended up taking Chinami to the temple's entrance. It sat down and happily made its noise, as if telling her she had arrived at her destination. 

"Did you...did you bring me back here? Thank you." 

"Chinami! Where are you?!" Chitose's voice can be heard calling for her. Chinami ran to the direction of the voice, she turned from the corner of the temple's entrance to see Chitose's back. She can see the worry on his face when he turned slightly. 

"Chitose-senpai..." His worried expression made her think about the day he clung onto her, wanting her to keep living. She loved the him who saved her...

"Nya~!" The cat called out loudly, as if it called Chitose to turn himself around. 

Chitose heard the cat's loud voice and his eyes widened when he found Chinami standing there. He smiled as he ran up to her, embracing her close to him. 

"Where did you go? You've scared me." Chitose thought she would end up missing and he will never ever see her again. It worried him to death when she was not by his side; even if he did quit the tennis team, she remained as a precious person to him. It didn't matter if he's gone elsewhere like a stray cat because Chinami will always make sure to welcome him with her smile either way. 

"I'm sorry..." Chinami apologized for her childishness in running away and making him worry about her. Chinami looked at the black cat and it walked off with a satisfied look on his face. She wondered if that cat was that clever to plan for this.

"Please don't do that again, I thought I would lose you forever..." He backed away slightly, running his fingers through her hair in an affectionate way. He noticed her blush and that in turn made his heart beat slightly.
