Exactly five hours and seventeen minutes later, the shark escaped Kintarou's capture and left the boat and the club members alone. Kintarou was disappointed about the shark's getaway but he doesn't have any time for that because was sitting on knees in shame because Chinami was giving him a lecture.
"We're lucky we're still in Osaka! What would have happened if we ended up in the middle of the ocean and take ages to get back?! We wouldn't be able to make it to Tokyo in time for the Nationals! Think about the consequences before you decide to do something!"
"Nee-chan, you're so scary..."
"What would have happened if one of us ended up in the ocean?! If the shark ate of one you, I would have to turn that shark into shark fin soup out of revenge!"
"I am sorry, Nee-chan."
"Don't do it next time. Now we have to end up staying in a hotel! It's a good thing Dad told us to pack our uniforms and jerseys!"
"Yes...I am sorry, Nee-chan."
"Chinami is like a Mom..." Chitose chuckled.
They will have to stay in a hotel until tomorrow. They will be heading to Tokyo by train so hopefully things will be alright until then-
"Ah! Dad! Stop reading dirty magazines in public!" She slapped Osamu on the head when she caught him reading a dirty magazine, courtesy of buying it himself of course!
"Okay, we're all checked in. Shall we go?" Shiraishi sorted everyone out and they were ready to check into their rooms. "Chinami is a girl so she gets a room to herself. Kenya and Zaizen are sharing, the Baka Pair in one room, Koishikawa and Gin, Chitose and Kintarou, and Coach and I gets the last individual room." 'Since we did not let her hit the shark, she must be itching to hit someone with the paper fan. I want to share a room with her but I should let her paper fan fever go down first...' Shiraishi nodded to everyone and everyone got going to their individual rooms.
"Wait, why do you need a room to yourself?" Kenya asked him.
"Because I want to be alone for the night. I might be the captain but that doesn't mean I want to take care of everyone outside of my captain status."
"That kind of hurts..." Chinami said with a pout.
"I'll be happy to take care of you." Shiraishi said with a perfect smile.
'He just saved himself from instant death by paper fan!' Everyone thought on the spot.
After a nice bath, Chinami was happy to have the whole room to herself! The bed was huge! She can jump on it like a kid and no one can judge her.
"I'm bored..." Bouncing on the bed was fun but she had enough of it now. She doesn't feel like watching TV either. "Hm?" She looked out of the balcony's glass door to see the full moon in view. She jumped out of bed and slide open the door to stand outside. "Woah! The moon is so big!" Looking at the full moon always amazed her, the light it gave out always made her feel calm again. "It would be nice if there are moon rabbits up there pounding rice cakes..."
"Pfft!" Chinami looked at her right to see Shiraishi was also out on the balcony, laughing at what she just said. Ah, she just realized his room was next to hers. "Chinami, you are very cute...!"
"Don't you laugh! You better forget about what I said!" How embarrassing...for him to hear her say such a thing.
"Sorry, sorry. I didn't expect you to be up at this time."
"Buchou, too."
"I saw the full moon and I felt like coming out to see it. You too?"
"Hm."
