Chinami was out to buy some snacks from the convenience store. She felt like having something sweet so she went out to give herself a little treat.
Humming a happy go lucky tune, she ate a maiubou with a smile on her face as she walked down the street of Osaka with a plastic bag in the other hand.
When she was about to walk past a local park, she can see a group of boys teasing a girl with dark skin. The young girl looked like she was from elementary school and she was trying to get her racquet back from her bullies.
"You suck at playing tennis anyway!"
"Yeah! You suck!"
"You're probably lying when you said you were good!"
"Hahaha!"
Chinami can see that the young girl was biting back her tears. Chinami got angry in an instant and she put her huge bag of snacks aside, whipped out her paper fan, and started beating the boys on the head.
"What the hell do you guys think you are doing?! You better give me that racquet before I nurture your ass with a baseball bat!"
"Wahh! She hit us, she hit us!"
"I'm telling my Mommy!"
Chinami got very angry at hearing that, "Oh yeah? Go on then! I'll just hit your Mommy right in front of your eyes! I'll hit her so hard you will have to call your Daddy too!"
The boys got so scared of Chinami that they threw the racquet back to the girl they were bullying. The little girl looked at Chinami with eyes of admiration, finding her more and more amazing after each seconds.
"Thank you so much, Onee-chan!" The young girl thanked Chinami with a bright smile on her face, "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have got it back."
"You should just hit them on the head next time. A racquet is more painful than a paper fan."
"Really? Then why did the paper fan seem painful when it's you the one who wield it?"
"Should I take you home?" Chinami offered.
The young girl took the offer and she thanked Chinami for being so nice to her when everyone else saw it but walked on by. Chinami was very nice to her, even offering her a snack from her bag.
"Onee-chan, my name is Miyuki. What is your name?"
"My name is Chinami."
"Chinami? That is a cute name." Was it just her or does her name sound familiar somehow? Maybe it was just Miyuki's imaginations...
"Really? I like your name better."
"Onee-chan, how did you pull out that paper fan out of nowhere? Is it a magic trick?"
"Want me to tell you the secret to it?"
"Yes please!"

Miyuki really liked talking to Chinami, she was very easy to get along with and their conversations just kept flowing and flowing. For a tomboy, Miyuki found herself enjoying Chinami's company and she wished Chinami could be her older sister or something.
"Ah, I'm home. Onee-chan, do you want to stay for dinner? My brother is cooking ramen tonight I want to thank you for helping me."
"Is it really okay?"
"Sure! My brother always said I should bring a female friend home!" Miyuki happily dragged Chinami back home with her and she opened the door to her home.
