You and Joe were chilling in the living room watching tv and wasting time. You guys didn't have really anything planned for today, so it was just a bunch of nothing and cuddling.

"Hey, babe, you know that one thing you do with the yarn?" Joe said, interrupting the once silent atmosphere. "Crochet?" you answered with a chuckle. "Yeah! I wanna learn that!" he said smiling, looking at you. "Mm... Well, it ain't that easy. You up for a challenge?" You replied with a brow wiggle. "You're dang right I am!"

You giggled as you went and got a few balls of yarn and a few hooks from your craft closet and came back to the living room, letting him choose what yarn he wanted.

"Okay... Now, take the yarn and make a loop around your fingers like this-" you demonstrated how to make the starting loop. You could see him struggling and helped him out, earning a cute little smile from him. "Okay, now... slip the hook in here and thread some yarn between your fingers like this-" you took his yarn and unraveled it a bit and showed him how to hold it.

You decided to get yours started while he fiddled around, trying to do what he always saw you doing. You had a decent chain going when you decided to check up on how Joe was doing. You looked over at him, somehow making a huge mess of yarn and knots and he looked flustered. You chuckled and untangled all the knots you could, fixing everything and showing him how to do it properly.

"Hey, (y/n), look!" You honestly thought he had it down, but boy were you wrong. He had somehow mummified his head in yarn in those two or three minutes... how?? All you could do was laugh, making him laugh. "But how- what? How did you even-" you managed to get out between chuckles.

You tossed yours to the side and started pulling yarn off of his face, making him smile. You finally got all the yarn off and tossed it along with yours. "Thanks babe" he said, kissing you on the cheek. "Mm, no problem baby." you cupped his cheek gently, pulling his face to yours and kissed him passionately. He pulled you back onto him and you guys resumed earlier's cuddle session.

"Maybe I'll learn some other time." Joe said with a light chuckle.
