Sal came home from filming to find you mostly asleep on the couch... so he thought. He tip-toed over to where you we're and kneeled down so he'd be at eye level with you. "Hey... Baby. Hey... What's wrong?" he asked you, concerned.

You quietly sniffled and wiped your eyes. "I'm just- Nothing. I'm fine." you said with a harshly confident tone. You sealed the lie with a fake smile; you figured if you're already lying you might as well go all out.

"Alright, sit up. I'm not gonna have any of this 'fine' nonsense." he said, standing back up. You complied and sat up, scooting yourself over to the end of the couch. He sat down beside you and held out his arm, a signal you've learned over time meant that he wanted you to cuddle up to him. You once again obliged and snuggled into his chest, bringing the blanket you had with you.

"Now, tell me what's wrong." he said as he wrapped his arm around you and ran his fingers across your arm. You sighed. "Well, there's nothing really wrong I guess. I'm just a little down... okay, maybe a lot down." you finally admitted, looking up at him to see what his response would be.

"There, was that so hard? Now... I don't need my girl to be sad, alright? How to fix this..." he said before looking off into the distance to think. "Straddle me, but face me." he finished his thought. And so you complied once more and straddled your boyfriend's thighs before sitting on his knees. "Come cuddle?" he said in possibly the cutest innocent voice.

You smiled as you leaned forward and rested your head on his shoulder and wrapped your arms around him. He leaned over and kissed your forehead before wrapping his arms around you and holding you tightly for a few seconds before letting go - he left one hand on your lower back.

You two stayed like that for a couple hours, and needless to say, you weren't so sad anymore.
