It's always freezing this time of year. You'd always lived here, but it never failed to debilitate you when it reached a certain temp. The radar said the wind chill would be in the negatives, but man, did you underestimate them.

You woke up shivering covered in the heaviest blanket you had. You leaned over and checked the temperature on your phone. 5°, feels like -10°. Great. You sighed and rolled over to face your apparently-not-as-cold boyfriend, Brian. You snuggled up against him for warmth.

He pulled you closer into him and held you tightly. All you could do is smile and lay there. "Too bad we can't lay like this all day." You said, dejected. "We can. And we will." Brian added. "But we both have work..." you looked up at him. "Nope. The boys already cancelled and I called you out before you woke up." he said as he kissed your forehead.

"I... Okay. I love you so much, Bri." you said as you snuggled deeper into his chest. "I love you too, babygirl. Now, go back to bed. I've got you." he replied.
