"Blaine, he's getting away again!"
"Well, stop him!"
"Kurt, get back here!"
Blaine struggled to chase after his furiously giggling boyfriend, who'd pulled himself free from Jeff and Nick's grip for the third time in fifteen minutes while Blaine had been trying to buy some of Kurt's favorite candies from Honeydukes. He'd slammed some money on the counter before tearing out the door past the laughing Jeff and Nick.
Kurt glanced over his shoulder at Blaine as he skipped down the street, occasionally spinning. Blaine could hear Jeff and Nick behind him, trying to keep up even as they howled with laughter.
"Kurt, stop!" Blaine gasped, grinning at the mischievous look on the other boy's face as he turned up the road leading back to the Castle. "You're going to—"
He dropped the bag of chocolates and sped up as Kurt tripped on his own feet and went sprawling into the grass and dirt at the side of the road.
"Are you okay?" Blaine said breathlessly as he reached Kurt, who was lying flat on his back and giggling madly.
"Yes," he said, biting his lip. He glanced around a little. "But it's lonely down here." He rocked up into a half-sitting position and grabbed both of Blaine's hand to pull him down on top of him.
Blaine let out a high-pitched shout of surprise that made him glad that Jeff and Nick had not yet reached them, as he knew they would never let him live it down.
Kurt squirmed a little beneath him, tittering as he wiggled down into the grass and grinned playfully.
"You're so adorable," Blaine said, shaking his head and laughing as Kurt stuck out tongue and licked the tip of Blaine's nose.
"You're adorable," Kurt retorted, his words a little slurred as he tapped Blaine on the nose.
Blaine smiled and cupped Kurt's jaw just under his ear in one hand, propping his chin in his palm with his other, his elbow resting beside Kurt's head. He rubbed his thumb in gentle circles at Kurt's earlobe.
Kurt let out a satisfied sigh and snuggled down in the grass a little more. He was obviously drunk, because Blaine knew that sober Kurt would never run the risk of ruining his clothes that way.
"You know what today is, don't you?" Kurt said, his tone suddenly serious even as his gaze slid in and out of focus as he stared up at Blaine.
"Hmm?" Blaine said, brushing Kurt's hair back off his forehead gently.
"It's been exactly a month since I said I loved you," Kurt replied.
Blaine thought his heart might melt at the look of honest love and innocence Kurt was giving him, his wide blue eyes steady despite the effects of the alcohol.
"And I'll never stop saying it," Kurt continued, lifting his hand from the grass to run it over Blaine's cheek.
"Me neither," Blaine said, closing his eyes and leaning into Kurt's touch.
Kurt lifted his head off the grass and whimpered as he tried to reach Blaine's lips with his own. Smiling, Blaine lowered his head to kiss him. It was a little messy in Kurt's state of intoxication, mostly tongue and teeth as they occasionally missed each other's lips in Kurt's enthusiasm, but Blaine could still feel the love behind it.
He slid his hand under Kurt's head to wind his fingers in the hair at the nape of Kurt's neck and deepen the kiss. Kurt let out a soft whine and the temperature suddenly seemed to shoot up ten degrees. He could feel Kurt responding to the kiss against his thigh and he growled in the back of his throat. Kurt's hands were running all over his body, as needy and chaotically as the kiss.
