Kurt waved goodbye to Wes and David, who were going off to find Charlotte before heading to the party.

He waited a little impatiently to get down the stairs, which were packed with students excitedly discussing the match.

Clucking his tongue, he pushed through them, his banner draped around his shoulders.

He reached the edge of the pitch and made his way towards the mob of Ravenclaws gathered around the team.

Jeff and Nick were hoisting Ethan on their shoulders, the Seeker grinning bashfully and clutching the silver Cup.

Kurt spotted Blaine standing a little apart from the rest of the team, smiling fondly at them. He picked his way through the crowd towards him, glaring at a third year who stepped on his toes.

"Congratulations," he muttered in Blaine's ear when he reached him, kissing the back of his neck lightly.

Blaine grinned over his shoulder at him. "All Ethan," he said. "I was awful."

"Stop it," Kurt said, frowning. "You were fine."

"Flint was like a damn cannonball today," Blaine said, shaking his head. "He was unstoppable."

"Well, there's a reason for that," Kurt murmured, smirking.

Blaine grinned. "Yes, I saw his less than put-together state at the start of the match. Nick and Jeff are going to have a heart attack."

"Probably," Kurt muttered, rolling his eyes. "They're going to tease Thad to no end once they get over the idea of him being a 'wildcat'."

Blaine chuckled as they watched the two Beaters announce loudly that they were going to raid the kitchens for the party and that someone had better help them or they'd keep it all to themselves.

"Dear?" Kurt said, wrapping his arms around Blaine's waist and resting his chin on his shoulder.

"What is it, love?" Blaine sighed as Kurt fluttered his eyelashes.

"How would you feel about a picnic next Sunday?" Kurt said. "With Thad and Flint."

Blaine blinked in surprise. "Oh, er, okay, I guess, if you want."

"I do," Kurt said, nodding against him.

"As if I could ever say no," Blaine said, kissing him on the cheek.

"You couldn't," Kurt said airily as he slipped his hand in Blaine's and pulled him through the crowd.

Blaine laughed and wrapped his arms around his waist as they broke through the mass of students.

"This is awkward," Kurt said, trying to walk with Blaine pressed against his back.

"Too bad, I'm not moving," Blaine mumbled against the back of his neck.

Kurt gave him a dead-panned look over his shoulder and Blaine loosened his hold, keeping one arm around Kurt's middle and slipping his hand in the pocket of his jeans.

"Will you be alright while I get changed?" Blaine said, glancing over at him as they reached the changing room.

Kurt stared at him. "I'm a big boy, Blaine, I think I can manage," he said.

Blaine chuckled and ducked into the changing room with a wink.

Kurt hummed randomly, watching the mass of Ravenclaws move in the direction of the Castle, Jeff and Nick in the lead with the rest of the team, laughing and grinning like idiots.

Kurt smiled; he definitely wasn't as invested in Quidditch as the rest of the school, but he still enjoyed it. It was something else he was going to miss while in Ohio that summer. It suddenly sank in that he had less than a month left at Hogwarts and his eyes burned with tears. He ducked his head to wiped his eyes on the banner.
