<Three weeks later>
~You~
You skipped down the halls of the grand Manor, humming a sweet tune. Your time in this place just kept getting better and better. The demon was constantly forced to be at your "aid", and Ciel seems to be so amused by your antics that he was on your side. You smirked as you looked down another hall for Sebastian.
Every day, you found a new way to control him. To irritate him. It was fun, and it was empowering. Just recently, you had found a stray puppy on a trip to the city with Mey-Rin. You had tried your best not to giggle when you placed it on his very bed. The next time he saw you, his expression was worth carrying the poor thing in your bodice.
And now, you felt it was time to meet with him again. The black clad butler turned the corner, and you hummed louder. He avoided eye contact with you, but you blocked his way.
"Mmm...Sebastian~"
He glanced to you before bowing respectfully, as he was required to do.
"Lady (Y/n)."
"I'm currently lacking excitement, you see~. Entertain me."
He visibly tensed, and he glanced back to you with lidded eyes.
"Entertain..? How do you suggest I-"
"Surprise me." You crossed you arms and looked down at him expectantly. There were plenty of things he could do, and you knew this. In fact, you didn't need much entertainment at the moment at all, but you haven't seen Sebastian since breakfast. And Ciel still wanted a report on him.
After a few seconds, Sebastian opened his mouth to respond, but you cut him off. You sighed, turning around and walking the other direction. "Ah, never mind that. You obviously don't have a good thought about it. I guess I'll just have to pu-"
A low growl made you halt, and you glanced back at the demon to see two glowing eyes glaring at you. The next moment, you were jerked back, and pinned to a wall.
"Listen closely, Lady (Y/n). I shall make this as clear and as simple as I can. I don't enjoy being punished for obeying orders. The only reason you're still here is because the master forbids me to harm you. The moment he grows bored of this game, I will personally be the one to tear you to shreds." His grip was tight around your arms, but still gentle, as if he were protecting you instead of trying to intimidate you.
He was shaking, and the fact that it was from slight fear as well as enraged irritation made you smile devilishly. "Let go of me. Now."
After a moment of hesitation, he let his arms drop to his sides, but he didn't take a step back. You brought your hand up to cradle his cheek, but he flinched in anticipation for a hit. You narrowed your eyes.
"How disrespectful of you, Sebastian. I can't overlook this, you know." You lowered your voice to a whisper, then grabbed his tie and pulled him down to your level. "Ciel is never going to allow you to kill me. I have him eating right out of the palm of my hand, and he won't ever go back on his part of the deal. I suggest you keep me happy, Sebastian. With just a few words from me, Ciel would be on your case faster than than it takes you to run ten feet. You may be a demon, but I control your master~."
His eyes went wide with disbelief. You giggled and pulled him closer to you. You pressed your lips to his nose, giving him a kiss just to confuse him further. Before he could reply, however, you twirled away from him, and continued to hum.
Your notes held a dark undertone, and your face twisted with a grin. Every passing moment you spent in this Manor made you feel stronger and stronger. You could practically feel your father's proud smile.
I have a demon under my control, Father. Are you proud of me?
~Sebastian~
He watched her walk down the hall, his limited emotions mixed and frazzled. Why did she kiss him?
More importantly, why did he let her slip away after that? He clenched his teeth together and curled his hands into fists. She was on her way to the Master's study, meaning Ciel would find another childish way to irritate him. Or at least, he could only hope it was childish. His hand fluttered to his stomach, where the Earl had allowed (Y/n) to burn him. The mark was gone, but it didn't erase the fact that it happened.
The other servants had no idea what went on behind those closed doors, and they continued to shower (Y/n) with affection. Couldn't they see that she was evil? Then again, they couldn't see he was a monster either, so he guessed that they were just full of it.
Perhaps (Y/n) was some sort of witch... No, she smelled completely human, and despite how cruel she acted, her soul seemed to be weighed down by something. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't guilt or pity... What was he to do, if this were to continue for weeks? Months?
He sighed, not wanting to believe that it would come to that. He had suffered worse, but this was at the hands of a girl he had saved from his own kind. If this continued, he wouldn't fall back on his promise of tearing her to shreds. Maybe he would give her soul to the dogs, as she didn't deserve to be devoured by him.
He continued on his way to the kitchen, hoping if he made sweets that the master would be easier on him.

I'm proud of her. I'm glad she's found a way to follow me in my footsteps.
At the same time I feel shame. The demon isn't a monster. In fact, I wouldn't mind having him as a part in her life. He is troubled, just as much as her. I can help, but for now I watch... Perhaps they will understand soon, and I won't have to interfere. I know the consequences of such a thing, and I have too much to loose now.
But I promised I would protect her.
