~You~

You screamed, only to be muffled by the wind blasting in your face. Your eyes shut tight and you clung to Corvus for dear life. Where was he going? Why didn't he do this days ago when the journey started!?

You were going to give him hell for this. Just as you were about to scream again, the winds died. Everything seemed to stop... you were floating. You opened your eyes, immediately being caught in Corvus' ruby-like orbs. A gasp escaped you when you couldn't look away, and one word bounced around in your mind: Beautiful.

Around you, everything was red. Crimson ribbons of fog swirled around you, accompanied by scarlet streams of light and blood-like water. There was no ground, not that you knew, but there was no sky either. You were in a void. A red void where darkness and light twisted together to make priceless art. And it was beautiful.

Just as quickly, it all broke away, and you were sucked into a freezing cold world of nothing. The wind picked up again, but the light tapping of the demon's feet could be heard over it. You closed your eyes and pressed against his chest in an attempt to keep warm, shivering at the sudden change of temperature.

"Where are we..?"

"Hell, my dear human."

~Corvus~

He didn't stop running until they were far from the newly opened passage. He stopped when dead trees surrounded them, poisonous fruits hanging from every branch. He still didn't let her go. Hell was dangerous place for a human. But for Corvus, it felt like home. He would stand out with what he was wearing, though.

It would be incredibly easy to fly, as they would reach their destination quickly. Unfortunately, the trees wouldn't allow his wings to stretch out. He put his guards up and held (Y/n) closer.

"Why don't you just put me down?"

Corvus raised a brow and and frowned. "Look at the ground."

He loosened his hold to let her turn around. Immediately, she yelped and clinged to him tighter. "Yeah, okay, I get it, don't let me go!!"

The forest floor was made out of rock, but in between the cracks and crevices, dark creatures varying in size and shape crawled and slithered. A few would occasionally climb out and move to a different crack, revealing how large they could truly get. Corvus knew where to step and how to make it through, but if he let her down, they would be able to sense her as another meal.

He wouldn't be able to save her then.

"I won't, but you have to promise to keep your eyes shut until I tell you too. Make no sudden movements, and do not speak." She opened her mouth to protest, but Corvus cut her off. "If you value what life you have left I suggest you obey me."

She wasn't pleased, but that didn't stop her from burying her face in his chest and saying nothing. After a few moments, he felt relieved that she had listened to him. Corvus smiled, and began running once more, albeit slower. As he ran, he shedded feathers as black as obsidian and shadows curled and twisted around the trees. As he finally passed the tree line and was out in the open, he jumped, changing into his true form completely.

Wings sprouted and he took flight, flapping once, twice, until he was flying smoothly. He kept his eyes set on the direction of his destination, not looking down at all. He gained speed slowly because of the human in his hands, but that was fine. He didn't want to seem in a hurry.

He banked left, cutting through the air smoothly and turning away from his family's territory. He needed to make sure (Y/n) was comfortable, and he had also swore to her that things would get better once they made it. He smirked, and glanced down. He could feel the coldness bite into his skin and melt to a warmth that filled his spirit with fire.

~Blue~

The chains around me glow dimly, but I cannot escape. The cage is also quite dim, actually. Why am I here? More importantly, why do I feel as I've been here before?

I don't remember anything... I cannot, but the one with the pale glow said that he knows everything. He told me that I belonged in this cage... He didn't give me any other choice. I don't remember if I had anywhere to go anyway...

What happened to me? Have I always been this way? Pale says that I'll remember after a few months...but how much time has passed already? I do not know... it's always dark here... only my blue glow and the metal's amber glow fill the room. At least I choose to believe I'm in a room, because even with that light, I can't see.

Yet, I can hear clearly. Right now, I can hear the clanging of a lock falling to the ground. He's coming. I scramble to the back of the cage, knowing I can never truly hide from him. I can't hear his footsteps or if he's even breathing, which terrifies me all the more.

"Well, little Blue... She needs someone to save her from a demon. You'll help me, right?" His voice sounded sickly sweet as it floated to my ears. I shook my head furiously, not wanting help this bloody son of a bitch.

That was another thing. He would speak of a girl who sounded helpless. Who always needed his help. Who was this girl? Why is she getting into so much trouble?

Unfortunately, he won't tell me what I want to know. "It's either that... or I'll leave you chained up for the rest of eternity. I'll use you in other ways..." His voice took on a darker tone, and his hand gripped my chin, forcing me to look into his lifeless eyes.

"It's your choice."

My...choice?
