~You~
"I... I don't know, Corvus..." You looked away and bit your lip.
"...I understand." You heard disappointment in his voice. "Though, you don't have much time to decide."
What? Your eyes widened and you eyed him warily. "What do you mean..?"
"Once you pass your prime age, it will not work. Your body would not be able to withstand the change, and you will surely die early." He held you closer, leaning down to whisper in your ear, "But that's the beauty of it."
"Wha-?" He let you go before you could protest but held onto your hand. "Wa-wait!" You yelped when he started pulling you out of the room and down a different hall. "Where are you taking me? Can we not talk this out?!"
"There is nothing to talk about."
"Bullsh-" he pulled you to him and covered your mouth, leaning in too closely.
"I said... There is nothing to talk about. So you will stay quiet." He didn't glare at you, but his eyes were filled with fuchsia flames. Had you irritated him? How? His grip on you grew stronger, and he immediately let go. "Ah, I...I'm sorry. I just..."
He looked away and began walking off, obviously disturbed by something. He left you trying to catch your breath, confusion and annoyance curling through you. You stalked after him, determined to get an explanation. He wasn't just going to walk away from you now! You grabbed onto his arm and pulled him to a stop.
"Where do you think you're going? We are not finished here, Corvus."
He said nothing.
"Neither one if us is moving away until we talk about this."
He said nothing.
"...Demon?"
Silence.
"Corvus, what is wrong?"
A sigh. "It's just... I'm growing restless, (Y/n). The longer you make me wait, the more primitive I will become. Something about you... It's made me... Different." He turned to you slowly. "Do you remember the first time I kissed you?"
Of course you did. It was the most amazing sensation you've ever experienced. "Yes..."
"I had to know, (Y/n). I had to know why I saved you... I wish I had stayed ignorant."
"What do you mean? What does this have to do with wanting to change me?"
"It has everything to do with changing you!" He snapped then, looking at you desperately. "Don't you see? I don't want to change you, I need to. The day I saved you, I didn't even know you existed until a Wolf pointed you out. But now... I know you're presence all too well. Your absence." His lips trembled. "I never should have kissed you... I'm getting obsessed."
Obsessed... With you? You reached up and cupped his cheek in your hand. He flinched, but soon relaxed and pressed against you. "Does this mean... You're falling in love with me?"
He didn't laugh. "No. Demons don't feel...love..." His words were uncertain, however, and you raised an eyebrow. "We don't need it."
"Then what do you call this?"
"Desire. Lust. Greed... I-I don't know, I've never felt this way."
You pressed closer to him, looking into his glowing eyes. You already knew that you loved him. You wanted him, but was it logical? Was it worth it? The longer you stared into his eyes, the more you felt yourself slipping away. Was this the cost of kissing a demon?
