Chapter Eleven

Justin's P.O.V
"Room 802... Okay thanks." I hung up my phone after I ordered three large pizzas for everyone. I look over at Avalanna who was too focused coloring in her coloring book. Cameron was giving Lilly a bath in the restroom after Avalanna took hers. We stopped by the gift shop downstairs when we got here and just bought some clothes they can sleep in for tonight and tomorrow when we go and buy them actual clothes. I hear the door open and look over and see Lilly walking out, her skin glowing in cleanness and her hair shining from washing it. She smiled at me slightly and I smiled back. She had a brush in her hand that I also bought her at the gift shop, and sat down on the other bed across from me and Avalanna. "You want me to brush your hair Lilly?" I asked her nicely. She shook her head and pointed to the restroom door, where Cameron was. "Cameron's gonna do it?" I asked. She nodded. I sit down on the edge of the bed with Avalanna still coloring. I look over at Lilly and see her looking at Avalanna. I nudged Avalanna gently and she looked up at me. I nodded over to Lilly and she seemed to get it and smiled slightly. "You wanna color with me Lilly? It's fun!" She said. Lilly smiled and nodded and came over to our bed, she had trouble getting up so I held out my hand and once she grabbed it, I gently pulled her up. She smiled at me and I smiled back and soon she was coloring with Avalanna. About ten minutes later, the water to the shower went off and after about another three minutes, Cameron walked out, steam coming from the restroom and his skin glowed as well, his brown hair was still kind of wet, but clean. Him and Lilly both looked clean and fresh and a whole lot better. He made his way to the bed across from us, where Lilly just was, and sat down. "How you feel?" I asked him. "Clean," he replied. "For once." He mutter to himself, but I heard heard him but decided to ignore it. Lilly looked over at him and smiled, she climbed down from the bed and grabbed her brush, and made her way over to Cameron. He grabbed it gently from her and began brushing her hair carefully, as if she was a glass doll that would break if you brushed her hair the wrong way. Every time he came to a knot or tangle in her hair and she'd winced, he would say, "sorry baby" gently to her. When he was done, he braided her hair and she smiled at him and he smiled back slightly. Right then, there was a knock on the door and I grabbed fifty dollars and made my way over there. When I get there I see a teenage guy and after I paid and grabbed the three boxes, I go inside the room and set them down. "Alright, there's dinner, y'all can have as much as y'all want." I smiled at them, then go into the restroom to take my shower now....

Avalanna's P.O.V

The room was silent. I broke it by turning on the tv and it showed the news. I go over to Cameron. "Can you find spongebob?" I asked him. He grabbed the remote from me gently and started scrolling through the TV guide. He soon found it because he clicked a button and soon sponge bobs theme song came on. I walk over to the boxes and grab a slice, I look over at them and they are looking at me, I pick up the box and carry it over to them and set it down. I walk back over to the bed I was originally on and sat down and ate my pizza and watched sponge bob. I hear Lilly giggle every time something funny came on and was happy she wasn't sad. I looked over and see that daddy is still in the shower. About two minutes later he comes out wearing jeans and a hoodie and he slips on his shoes. "Yeah so I have a really important thing going on that scooter needs me to be at so, Cameron are you okay watching the girls for a little bit? I'll be back as soon as possible and if you need me, my number is on the dresser right there next to the phone!" He said as he grabbed a slice of pizza and ran out of the room after saying goodbye and kissing me on the head. We all looked at each other but went back to eating and watching sponge bob. About two hours later daddy was still out and I was really tired. I look at see Lilly falling asleep on Cameron's chest. "Let's go to sleep you guys, it's getting late." Cameron said as he turned off the light, the tv volume going down. We nod and begin to drift off to sleep...

I wake up crying and screaming. I look beside me, hoping to find daddy but he's still not here. I hear footsteps coming quickly but can't see anything because it's dark. "Daddy!" I cried as I put my arms up, even though he can't see me. I wrap my arms around his neck so he knows that I want him to pick me up. "Shh it's okay, Its Cameron." He whispered in a sleepy raspy voice as he picked me up. I cried into his neck quietly while he rocked us back and forth. "W-where's daddy?" I asked him. "He's still not here baby." He whispered as he sat down on the bed and laid down, me still wrapped in his arms. I continued to cry. "Hey hey hey, it's okay, why are you crying? Did you have a bad dream?" He asked. I nodded into his neck. "It's okay, you know what you have to do after you have a bad dream?" He asked me. "No." I said as my cries died down. "You tell yourself that it's just a dream, that it's not real because nobody will ever let that happen to you. That your strong so you can fight your fears even when you think your alone." He whispered. I just nodded into his chest. "C-can we stay up? Please?" I asked him as I played with the hem of his shirt. He sighed but nodded. "Sure thing baby, what you wanna do?" He asked. "Wait for d-daddy." I mumbled. He nodded again. "You wanna watch some tv?" He asked. "In a little bit." I said. "Well what do you wanna do while we wait?" He asked. "C-Can you just t-talk to me?" I asked as he shifted and brought the blanket over us. "Sure." He said. "If I could take away the pain and put a smile on your face, baby I would, baby I would..."

He sang to me quietly as I drifted off into a sleep that didn't have any bad dreams....
