I have never really dreamed of my wedding. I never thought of my dress or my wedding cake. My mom never dressed me up in her gown. It wasn't part of my fantasy.

But now looking in the mirror for my final fitting, I realize that subconsciously I have thought of every aspect of my wedding and the one that will be held tomorrow isn't what I want. For obvious reasons like I am marrying a phycopath and I don't love him, but for other reasons too. The dress is too fluffy. My wedding cake is too extravagant. The revenue is too expansive. It was everything I never wanted. It was the fairy tale wedding, but it wasn't mine.

"It looks absolutely fabulous on you, dear." Janelle sucks up to me, as she's done for the whole day. I turn to her and smile.

"Make yourself useful and fetch me a water." I order. She nods and leaves the room frantically. I smile like a maniac and Irene glares at me.

"Your having too much fun with this." She grunts and I laugh.

"Oh Irene. If there's one thing I have learned from this hellish life is to have fun while your still alive." I say and step down from the platform. She gets up from her chair and inspects my train.

"This is so ugly." She says, rubbing the embellishments. I look up at her in surprise.

"You think so too?" I ask and she smirks.

"It's got so much dammed fabric that it's hard to tell there's a human being in there." She says, pretending to lose sight of me.

"It's so uncomfortable." I say and she thinks for a moment.

"What's your plan?" She asks finally.

"What do you mean?"

"Tomorrow. How are you going to leave?" She asks.

"A magician never tells his secrets."

"You don't trust me?" She asks.

"No, I trust you. But if your interrogated after I leave, I don't want you to blurt anything out." I say.

"Fine." She says and leans back at the wall. "Just promise me one thing."

"And what's that?"

"Be safe." She orders and I nod in agreement.

"I'm known for my regard for safety." I say and she snorts.

"I've heard." She says.

A knock on my door radiates around my room.

"Come in." I call groggily as inspect the drool on my pillow. Irene swings the door open and stands with her hands on her hips.

"Lets kill this sonofabitch!" She says and I can't help but chuckle. She runs towards my bed and flies on it. She clenches the sheets with her fists and kicks her legs against her mattress.

"Someone's in a good mood." I mumble as I get out of bed. She looks up with messy hair.

"You'd be too, if you were stuck in this place." She says with a frown and I nod.

"I'm sorry." I say and she smiles again.

"Don't be. Your the first person who's ever done anything about it. Your saving us." She says and straightens my sheets out.

"Oh please. I was just bored." I sarcastically as I wave my hand, dismissing the crazy thought.

"Go take a shower," She orders. "And get ready for a day of fun."

"I was born ready." I mumble as I walk to my bathroom.

JAKE'S POV

The plane takes off from the ground and I remember the first time I rode with Alex. She threw her shoe at me. I chuckle at the thought and a man glances at me strangly. I glare at him and he looks away.

In a few hours we will land and I will find her. I will take her and I will never let her go again.

ALEX'S POV

The woman doing my hair was a bitch. She kept pulling hard enough for me to mutter swear words under my breath. She was a burly Russian woman that smoked a great deal. She reaked of whiskey and urine.

Having said that, she was marvelous at her job. My hair curled softly down my shoulder and back and was lightly sprinkled with huge diamonds. I don't know how they are staying on my thick hair but I can't bring myself to ask her. She reminds me of a bear.

The woman sets down her tools on the table in front of me, signaling that she was finished. Irene walked over and inspected it and nodded.

"He'll love it." Irene says and the Russian woman gleams, showing her absense of teeth.

"Thank you." I tell her and she nods.

"I wish you the best of luck in your marriage, your royal higness." She says and curtsies. She then exits the room. Me and Irene look at eachother and burst out laughing.

"She thinks your staying!" Irene says as she gasps of air.

"And she curtsied! A three hundred pound woman just curtsied to me!!" I giggle and Irene wipes a false tear from her face.

"I liked her." She says, looking back at the door, as if the woman would come back.

"Shall I fetch her for you?" I ask sarcastically.

"I wouldn't want you to ruin your hair." She says and I chuckle.

"Good point." I say and look back in the mirror. For a while we are silent but then Irene breaks it.

"Do you miss him?" She asks.

"Who?" I look back and she nods to my hand. I look down at my ring and I rub it possessivly.

"Everyday." I say, looking down at the emraleds.

"I bet your excited to see him." She says. I smirk.

"You have no idea."
