"It's beautiful." I say gazing in the mirror. I turn to see Violet and Irene staring back at me, each in their own lavish dress.
"I could have done better but I only had day's notice." Violet answered and I shook my head.
"It's absolutely perfect." I breathe and feel the soft black fabric. It falls to the floor like water and the sleeves graze my wrists loosely. I loved the dress more than any I had worn in the last few months. I finally felt correct, like the dress was mirroring me.
Irene was dressed in an emerald dress that was tight until it fanned out at her knees. Violet, who was asked to the dance by none other than Ben, was wearing a dark red dress that had embellishments throughout. They were both beautiful.
"I can't wait to make your wedding dress." Violet sighs dreamily and I turn around.
"What are you talking about?" I ask and she rolls her eyes.
"Oh don't give me that look. We all know your going to marry Jake and your going to live happily ever after." She says and Irene starts to chuckle.
"I could have called that weeks ago." She says and I start to smile.
"I am so glad I saved you guys." I say.
"Well I like to think we had a little involvement of getting the Hell out of there." Irene says.
"Yes and did we get a thanks?" Violet jokes and they both look at me with funny expressions. I laugh and look at the two girls. Without them I would be dead or worse, still in Malak's grasp. They saved me as much as I saved them.
"Thank you." I say and they both nod and Irene wipes a single tear from her eye.
"Are you crying?" Violet asks and Irene looks at her.
"What you've never seen a trained assassin cry before?" She asks sniffling.
"We better get going." I say looking at the clock in the room. Jake is supposed to meet me at my room in an a half an hour and the girls are going to their dates rooms. I looked at Violet and hugged her.
"Thank you again, Vi" I say and she nods.
"Don't forget to talk to me about your wedding dress." She says and I roll my eyes as I walk out of the room.
"Veil or no veil?" She yells as I shut the door behind me and shake my head at her craziness.

I hear a knock on the door and I set my glass of water down on the counter to answer it. I swing the door open and Jake stands there, in a black tux. As much as I love a man in tailored suit, it felt odd seeing him in one. I recognized him in a white t shirt and jeans, not all fancy. Nevertheless he looked incredibly hot. He inspected me in my dress and then back up to my eyes. Then he started to smile widely.
"Is there something in my teeth?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"No." He says and continues to smile.
"Then what is it, my hair?" I ask feeling for flyaways.
"No, it's just you're-" He pauses.
"I'm what, Jake?"
"Beautiful." He finally finishes and I start to smile back.
"Well your not to bad yourself." I say and he smirks.
"I have never felt more uncomfortable in clothing." He admits and I chuckle.
"It's all part of the experience, darling." I say and link my arm through his and shut my door behind me.
