I woke up with my back resting against a huge tree trunk, at first. Everything was blurry. Until eventually I made out Calix's face only a few feet away from mine. "Darcy! Darcy! Can you hear me?" I heard his voice echo through my body. "Loud and clear." I mumbled as I sat myself up carefully. "What happened?" I asked curiously. "I think you fainted from the shock of two deaths in one day." He said quietly. "Oh and of course the pain from the two huge slices that Chalice gave you...I thought you said you were fine?" He said sternly raising on eyebrow. "Yeah I thought I was...at the time." I muttered under my breath. As I looked down I noticed my hand had been wrapped up in a snowy white bandage. "Where did you get this?" I asked In shock. "You got a sponsor..." Calix mumbled. "Really?" I asked raising my eyebrows. "Yeah...there was a small message with it too..." He whispered looking down at the ground. "Here." He said nervously, handing the small white piece of card that he pulled out of a metal capsule that the bandages where once in. I winced as I took the small white piece of card and studied it. As I opened it up I saw a sentence printed In the middle of it. I felt a warmth in my heart as I read the words 'Come back to me ~ Caleb' I felt the tears starting to prick at my eyes as I folded the note back up and placed it gently in my pocket. But I restrained them, because i knew I had to be strong for Caleb and simply whispered the words 'I promise' making sure that the people of the capitol would notice it. I placed my hand on my cheek to find yet another bandage that Calix has carefully wrapped around it. "How many bandages did Caleb send?" I asked Calix. "Enough for me to fix you up." He smiled. "He also sent this strange cream to put on your wounds. It works amazingly well, and um...I hope you don't mind but I kind of used a little bit for myself, just to clear up a few cuts." He said sheepishly. And with that I wrapped my arms around him, I was so grateful for all he had done to fix me up. "Of course I don't mind...thank you." I whispered.
