The professor clears his throat making the people upfront turn around and face him. He continues with his roll call and none of the people even glance back my way. The class flies by since all he talked about was how he is planning on running his course.

There will be a ton of reading, papers, and discussions. He hands out his syllabus with all his information on it so we can reach him.

He must really trust his students to hand out his cell phone number.

"If you even dare to prank call me you better pray to some god that I don't find out who you are," his eyes scan the seats before him, "I will drop you a letter grade. Understand!"

Everyone mutters that they understand and he nods his head.

"Miss. Hunter," the sudden attention sends this uncomfortable feeling down to the pit of my stomach. My eyes lock on his and he stares blankly at mine.

"Can you spare a moment before heading to your next class?"

"Sure I can."

What does he want?

"Class is dismissed," the students get to their feet and make their way to the door leaving me behind.

A male student that appears to be well built and has this aggressive aura about him walks up to the professor.

They speak briefly and the professor shakes his head and sends him on his way.

"Miss. Hunter." I gulp, grab my bag, and get to my feet making my way to him quickly.

"You can call me Melody," my voice is dead even to me.

"Okay, Melody," he just stares at me and I become fidgety. "I noticed that you come up in all my classes," I release a heavy breath. That is what he wants to talk about.

"Yes well," I give him a small smile, "I'm interested in this topic."

"Are you a believer?"

He starts gathering his papers on his podium.

"It's hard to get into these courses and I see you're a freshman. Correct?"

I open my mouth but he signals me to stop with his hand.

"Are you a believer? In werewolves of course."

Am I a believer?

"No, it's not like I've ever run into a werewolf in my life." His eyes narrow and then he sighs.

"I have a couple of students that are taking the same classes as you. You might want to get well acquainted with them."

"I'll see. Is that all professor? I need to do something." He nods and I turn to leave when he speaks once again.

"See you in the next class." Without answering I walk out and rush through the hallway.

I have no destination in mind I let my mind take me where it wants.

The campus is huge and the fact that I have never actually explored it makes for a harder time to find a place to go. My feet have a mind of their own leading me straight to the library.

This is where I need to be anyways. There are three levels to the library and I decide the top level would be best for me, taking the stairs two at a time I notice that it is the best one indeed.

The first level of the library is the lounging and reference area where people tend to hang out and chat about their assignments. The second level is where the computers are and lastly, the third level is where few students tend to venture out to is where the books reside.
