Chapter 13: Merry Christmas! {1}

I opened my bathroom door the steam rolling out of the bathroom. I walked into my room my towel still around me. I walked over to my dresser and opened it without any problems, which is a first. I looked through my shirts, jeans, skirts everything and found nothing. I looked over at my closet and sighed. This was the one and only time I would wear one.

I opened my closet and found all my dresses in there. I looked at all of them and found one that I think would be perfect. It was a dark blue sweetheart skater dress. I walked over to my makeup station and sat in my chair. I pulled some of my hair into a sock looking bun. I turned on my curling iron and curled my bangs and a piece of hair next to my ear. I put neutral tones on my eyes and a nude color lipstick.

I walked out of my room once I was finished and saw Rae was wearing a black lace shirt dress with black garter leggings and black flats. Her makeup was smokey eye. Her hair was in a ballerina bun with a braid wrapped around the band. I looked over at Iris and saw she was wearing something similar except her dress was a sundress. I smiled at the two and walked over to the dining room.

Dinner was almost ready and we had gotten our presents a few days ago. We even got the five gifts, we invited my uncle, Rae's dad to dinner as well along with Dex and them. Dex was in the living room with Dean having a beer and talking. Amy was helping Rae with finishing dinner, Iris was hanging the last few ornaments and the rest were still to get here.

Just as I thought about the rest of the people who are supposed to be here the doorbell rang. I smiled and walked over to the door. Iris came running out of the kitchen as I opened the door. She screamed and jumped on my back, I stumbled forward but caught my balance.

"MAMA'S GOT FLOUR!" Iris screamed. I laughed a little and shook my head holding her legs. I looked at the five and smiled. I moved out of the way and let them in. They looked a little confused at the little girl who just attacked me but smiled anyway.

"IRIS BROOKE HOME!" I heard Rae yell. Iris jumped off my back and ran behind Ethan, Reece and Milo hiding. I snickered and walked over to Snow and hugged her. I, along with everyone else, watched as Rae came out of the kitchen with flour all of her face. I clamped my hand over my mouth hiding my laughter. Dean and Dex just started to laugh their asses off, almost falling off the couch.

"Hey mama." Iris said slowly coming out of the boys cover. Rae looked mad but you could see that she was enjoying every single moment of this. The five looked confused and shocked. Oh boy, this is going to be hard to explain.

"Okay before we start a full on flour war, can we introduce people?" Amy asked walking out of the kitchen and looking at the five clueless. I laughed a little and nodded along with Rae. She didn't seem to mind that the five knew who Iris was to Rae.

"Dex, Dean, Amy, this is Snow, Ethan, Reece, Sarah and Milo. Guys this is Dex, Dean and Amy. Then there's little Iris." I said pointing to each one. Iris stepped forward. Looking at Milo. He seemed a little confused at why she was like that. She then looked at Sarah who smiled at her. She looked at Reece next who crouched in front of her and held out his hand. She looked down at it then back up at him and smiled. She shook his hand and smiled brightly at him.

She moved on to Snow and looked at her tattoos on her arms. Snow wore a Army green cap sleeves drawstring dress with black heels. So it was easy to see all the tattoos she had on her legs and arms. Snow noticed her looking and bend down to her and held out her arm. Iris grinned and touched her arm tracing the tattoos.
