Chapter 22: Betrayal at It's Worst.

We all sat in the living room waiting for Alice to awake again. The two who were at Alice's front door was sitting with us as well. Rae was keeping a close eye on them, but also trying to figure them out. I had asked, or more like demanded Ethan to see what the hell was going on in her head but he said he couldn't see inside her head, like someone was blocking her. Ethan's tried Justin's and Dylan's head as well but to our disliking, he failed. I remember Ethan telling us Rae knows about us, and Alice has a suspicion. So when Rae called us a few hours ago we were surprised. Only to find out that she had called the ass (Dex), Amy and Dean, Teddy, his foster mom, and I think Scott. I wasn't really paying attention to who was there.

I was a bit pissed at Alice. That's why I was un-caring if she was 'missing'. But I still had my concern. Alice had said something today when I held her wrist. Which pissed me off a bit.

I walked out of the classroom, confused about all of this. Alice, Mr. Prime looking like he was protecting her kinda like a big brother would. It just confused me. She had also got a tattoo which confused me as well but that wasn't the point. I looked up and stood frozen. Alice, Ashley, Cara and Sarah were in a stand off. From the corner of my eye I watched at Rae ran over to Ethan and said something to him fast. He was in shock but nodded anyway. He looked my way.

'You need to go over there and stop Alice, Rae's request.' He said. I looked at him for a second before doing what he asked. I walked over to Alice and grabbed her wrist right before she landed the punch. She looked at my hand confused before following and connecting eyes with me. We had a stare off. I could see the rage, the pain, the betrayal everything she is feeling in her eyes.

"Would you let go." She snapped. I glared at her, and she glared right back.

"WHAT IS GOING ON WHERE?!" I heard the principal roar but I didn't listen to him.

"I'm not going to let you do this, you've already had enough suspicions." I said softly, trying to get her to understand. She glared harder.

"I never asked for your help, so don't offer it." She snapped.

"I ASKED A QUESTION!" The prince yelled again. Alice tugged her wrist out of my hold sending me one last glare before turning to the teacher.

I heard a groan from my lap and turned to look at Alice. Her eyes fluttered open. I smiled at her. I had grabbed her before she fell and placed her on the couch, putting her head in my lap. She looked confused.

"What's going on?" She whispered. I smiled down at her.

"You fainted." I whispered back. She groaned and grabbed her head.

"Did you hit my head or something?" She joked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"No, but you were like stuck in your own world for a while. I don't know what happened but something did." I whispered. She smiled at me.

"I'm sorry." She said. I quirked an eyebrow at her confused. "For what I said today, I didn't mean it . . . I was angry and pissed and just . . . I don't want what happened with Dex to happen again." She whispered the last few parts. I frowned down at her, feeling hurt that she would think I would do what the ass did.

"Uhh . . . not to ruin the moment but . . ." Dylan trailed off. Alice snapped her head to Dylan her eyes widening. Before it turned into a glare. She sat up from my lap and stood up.

"Dylan Malin, I am going to kick your ass so fucking hard you won't be able to sit." She growled. She looked sexy pissed. WHY AM I THINKING THIS?! I heard Ethan snicker behind his hand, hiding the full blown laughter. Glad he thinks its funny, Jackass. Dylan's face went pale and he gulped fear in his eyes.
