Chapter 15: Wedding celebration

It was the day of the wedding and I was excited. It's been almost three weeks since Christmas and Reece and I are close. We've had moments where we'd lean in but always got interrupted. Dex has also tried kissing me, but I'd turn away. I've tried to ignore both of them, but . . . It never worked out as planned.

I sat in a chair getting my hair done. Iris was bouncing off the wall since Reece gave her a lollipop when he came over. Him and Dean have gotten close, so Dean asked Reece to apart of his grooms men since his best friend backed out last minute. Rae was maid of honour, and Dex was the best man. His friend that backed out last minute was originally the best man but since he backed out Dex took the place and Reece took Dex's spot. Which is walking next to me down the aisle.

The wedding was nothing big, but nothing small. It was mostly family and friends. Since our only family was Mel and Kegan. Amy did find her family, but only her aunt, uncle, cousins and grandfather. Both parents died in a car accident and the grandfather was too old to take care of her and her uncle was too young so she went into foster care.

"Ali, are you even listening?" Amy snapped, I jumped a little having the curling iron hit my skull. I jerked away and yelped.

"Omg, I'm so sorry, you just jumped and-" I cut off the hair stylist with a chuckle. She was a small girl, most likely new and just out of highschool. She had long wavy brown hair that was shaved at the side and bright dark brown eyes that had a hint of green in them. They weren't hazel but they still had that hint of green.

"It's fine, really. I'm use to it, just took me by surprise." I said waving her off. She nodded and sighed in relief. I turned to Amy with a rose eyebrow she was snickering to herself before composing herself and looking at me.

"I told you that once your makeup is done, I'd like you to run to starbucks please." Amy asked with pleading eyes. I gave her a flat look.

"You're not allowed coffee if you're pregnant." I said with the 'rest bitch face'. Yeah, it's a thing now. I've been doing it before it was cool, damn. She rolled her eyes and turned back to the mirror.

"Yeah I know that, I want a muffin, blueberry to be exact." She said grinning and a look of love on her face. You know for a woman who's about to get married, and is PREGNANT she's calm, and not acting like a bridezilla. Which is also a thing.

"Why not send Reece to do it?" I whined not wanting to leave the house. She rolled her eyes as Reece looking up from a magazine with a clueless and confused expression that looked adorable on him. Yes, I've admitted my feelings for him to myself. It's not the worst feeling in the world, PSH YES IT IS! It's the worst feeling ever, crushing hard on someone when you don't know if they like you back or just want to play you for their feelings!

"I heard my name." Reece said, okay he looked like an adorable puppy wondering what the fuck is on their behind wagging. Did I just compare Him to a Puppy? Yes, yes you did. I snickered to myself picturing Reece as a puppy. He'd be a German Shepherd. One's that mean to strangers but really nice when he gets use to you. He gave me a weird look as he looked at Amy waiting for what we were talking about.

"Since Ali over here is too stubborn." She gave a me a look. "Would you be a dear and run to Starbucks and get me a blueberry muffin?" She asked with puppy dog eyes that no one could resist. He chuckled and rolling his eyes saying yes anyways.

I watched as Amy shifted on her feet. The music hasn't started playing yet. We were the last to go in the chapel before the bride. Right now three more of her and Dean's friends needed to go in. Reece stood next to me, smirking. Honestly how could this guy smirk without his mouth or face hurting? Amy looked beau- no. Breath-taking. Her hair was curled and pinned up, she had blue little fake diamonds in her hair that sparkled under light, and her mom's necklace. The chair was sliver. The pendent was a topaz diamond with little strings of diamonds falling down on the chain.
