Afterwards in the city

Joining a club

"No nothing happened"I reassure ivy
"But he said"she says
"He was joking"I laugh
"Ok ok but don't scare me like that again"she says
"Ok I've got to go"I say and put the phone down.
I look at the time,it was 10:30 me and ivy had been talking for almost 2hrs ,when we had only just seen each other earlier that day.
I go downstairs and grab a bottle of water,I walk past the lounge room where amber and Carl are sat watching TV
"Hey selina,finished with ivy now"Carl jokes
"Yes"I laugh
"Selina it's your birthday next week what do you want to do"amber says
"Oh I don't know,anyway it's only my 16th"
"Ok think about it and tell us"amber says
"Selina I was thinking,you should join a school club"Carl says
"Really"I say shocked
"Yeah"he says"look tomorrow and join one,and ask ivy to,it's like you two are joined at the hip"
"Ok sure"I say and go up to my room

"There's to many"I moan
"No there not"ivy says
"There's football,yoga,choir,i.t,science"she says
"That's enough"I say"what about karate"I say
"No way,I will die and so will you"ivy says
"Well I'm joining"I say and write my name down
"Hey what are you doing"Bruce comes up to us and says
"Selina joking karate"Ivy says
"What your going to die"Bruce says
"Told you"ivy laughs
"No I won't"I say"anyway it was a choice of this or cheerleading"I say
"Why can't we do that"ivy moans
"Because I don't like them weird pom-poms"I say
"When is it"bruce asks
"Today after school"I say
"Great,I can meet you after"Bruce says

After school I walk into the gym,and I notice that it is mainly boys,I walk over to the coach
"Um sir,I'm here to join the club"I say
"Oh yes that's great a young woman"he says
"What do I do"I ask
"Well follow me,you can start off with showing me what you can do"
He take me over to a mat,where there is a boy
"Hey"I say
"Oh hi"he says
"Andy,come here I want you to show selina what to do"
"Sure"he says
Andy starts doing loads of tricks,some which I could never do.
"Okay your turn"coach says
I try to do what andy just done and I succeed
"Well done"he says,we continue practising
"Ok,I'm going to go see the other groups,you two practise together"coach says and walks off
"So your andy"I say
"Yeah,and you?"
"Selina"I say
"Pretty name for a pretty girl"he says and I blush,
Wait why am I blushing I he a boyfriend
"So how long have you been doing this for?"I ask
"Well since I was 7"he answers
"So you should be good"
"Good,I'm the best here"he laughs
"Not for long"I say and punch him in the arm

At the end if the club andy come up to me and says
"Where about do you live?"
"Weird question but lakeview road why"
"Well I live near that area,want to walk together?"
"Umm okay"I grab my bag and walk out of the door
"So your new here"he says
"Yeah moved a couple of weeks ago"I say
"Nice,what do you do at lunch"he says
"Nothing much I just hang with ivy and Bruce"
"Oh Bruce"he sighs
"Don't you like him"I ask
"Oh no it's not that,I just heard some stuff"
"Like what"I ask
"That your his girlfriend"he says
"Oh"I say
We just walk not talking
"I'm sorry"andy says
"For what"I ask
"For saying that and making it awkward,I came out the wrong way"
"It's okay"
We turn up out side my house
"Well I'm home"I say
"You live here"he says amazed
"Yup"I say opening the gate
"Are you coming next week?"he asks
"You bet,and I'm going to be better than you"I laugh

"Defiantly"he says
I walk down the driveway and unlock the door.
