Chapter 5

[Myles]

I walked inside my house to hear yelling between my parents. I ran  upstairs to Jake's room and asked him what was going on. He then replied "Dad cheated on mom and mom just found out. She's really upset and dad won't leave. He said that he doesn't have to even though he's the one at fault." I nodded my head and walked out to the living room. Suddenly my dad starts to yell "Myles get out! Your mother and I are having a talk that doesn't concern you!"  My mom then yelled at him while pushing him to the front door "Don't talk to my son like that. Get out of this house. You don't belong here. Us three will be fine without you. Goodbye!" She then opened the door pushed him out and slammed the door quickly and locked it.

She looks straight in my eyes and hugs me and immediately starts to bawl her eyes out. I hug her and bring her up to her room and lay her down. I laid with her until she fell asleep then quietly left the room. I walked straight into my room and laid down on my bed. I got out my phone and texted Nikki.

I was getting ready for bed when I heard a buzz go off on my nightstand and my phone lit up. I got a text from Myles.

Myles😛💘: Got home safe. See you tomorrow morning. Had a rough night when I got home. Tell you about it when I see you. Goodnight, Sweet dreams💕
Nikki😻❣: Awh hope everything is okay. See you tomorrow. Good night thank you, you too💓
                  
After that text was sent I put my phone on the charger. I got in bed and slowly fell asleep.

5:00 am
                
I woke up really early today for no reason but I can't go back to sleep. I got up and started to get ready for school already. I did my morning routine then decided to curl my hair. My outfit was already set on my bed, black leggings, a red flannel and black and white low top converse.

By the time I was done getting ready it was only 6. My mom went to work already so I decided to go to the Parrish residence. But I stopped by Starbucks first and got Mama Parrish, Myles and Jake's drinks. Their dad never really told me what he liked and I don't really think he likes me. Oops.

Time is going by really slow today it was only 6:15. I got the the Parrish's house and unlocked the door with the spare key. I walked in placed the drinks on the kitchen counter and saw Debbie in the kitchen cooking breakfast. I ran to hug her since I haven't seen her in weeks. She then asked me "Why are you here so early? The boys are still sleeping."
I then replied with "I couldn't sleep and brought you guys starbucks to wake up." Debbie then hugged me whispering a "thank you" in my ear.

I ran upstairs to Myles room only to see him sleeping peacefully. But it is time to wake up.
