2 weeks later

[Nikki]

The last two weeks were kind of crazy. I finally told Myles how I felt. But he kind of turned me down.

*flashback*
"Myles can I tell you something" I said as we were taking a night walk together. "Yeah, sure, What's up?" he smiled. Here goes nothing. "Myles I've liked you for awhile now and my feelings won't go away. Instead they are growing stronger. I can't stop it either. I love you..." As I finished what I said we came to a complete stop. Myles looked at me totally shocked. I guess he wasn't expecting that. He then looked at me straight in the eyes and said "Nikki, I didn't know you felt that way. I love you too, but I don't want our friendship to go away. What if we date, then a problem comes and we break up. We won't have that bond anymore. I think it's best if we stay friends."
*flashback is over*

It really sucks knowing someone doesn't feel that same. It's been really awkward ever since then so we decided to take a little break. I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and I heard he has another date with Melissa Sandoval.

I haven't spoken or seen Nikki in two weeks ever since the incident. I have another date with Melissa today and I'm actually excited. Although I do feel bad that my bestfriend doesn't know the truth about my feelings. I just can't date her. I just don't want our friendship to fade away. I decided to text her to see how she is doing.

Myles😛💘: Hey Nikki.

[Nikki]

I was watching Keeping up with the Kardashians until I heard my phone go off.

Myles😛💘: Hey Nikki.
Nikki😻❣: Hey. Haven't heard from you in awhile haha.
Myles😛💘: Yeah. So what's up?
Nikki😻❣: Nothin. How bout you?
Myles😛💘: Getting ready. Just wanted to see how you're doing..
Nikki😻❣: lol. what are you doing today? and i'm doing fine, missing my bestfriend but other than that it's gucci😂👌🏼
Myles😛💘: I have a date today... but that's good. I miss you too. We should meet up tomorrow or something.
Nikki😻❣: Oh. Well have fun at your date. I'll think about it. I'm gna take a nap. bye🙃
Myles😛💘: Thanks, okay, bye.

I'm not really going to take a nap but I just thought the text was going to get awkward so. I went on Twitter and tweeted

I then continued to scroll through my timeline and saw a tweet that caught my eye.

I feel so happy for him. At least what I told him didn't drag him down to not date anyone. I texted Ariana if she wanted to hang out and go get food.

Nikki😈💗: Hey wna hang out today? So bored and i miss you. I don't see you at your practices as much anymore.
Ariana👰🏼💟: Duhh. Yeah I'm always running errands for coach now. I'll meet you at your house in 15.

I got up, put my phone on the charger and went to my room. I showered this morning so I took out an outfit and got dressed. As I was waiting for Ariana I decided to take selfies. I posted them on Twitter and put
