"I want a tattoo." Justin randomly announced, hauling his half-naked body up onto the kitchen counter and grabbing a cube of sliced pineapple. Glancing from the cookery book with my glasses falling to the point of my nose, I pushed them up with my wrist and grabbed the chopping board, filled with diced fruits.

"Haven't you got enough?" I giggled. Pushing the healthy snack into the half-filled blender and sealing the black cap atop. Being used to the cheapest blender from Walmart, I narrowed my eyes at the three buttons on the new, high-end blender that didn't looked touched. Justin chuckled, flicking his finger against one of the switches and watching as I jumped back at the sudden swooshing noise.

"You're too cute." He mumbled, nudging his fingertip against my nose. Grabbing another cube of pineapple, throwing it into the air and successfully catching it in his mouth, I smacked his basketball short covered thigh.

"If you keep eating them I won't have any pineapple left to make a fruit salad!" I whined, pouting my lower lip. Holding his hands up, he swallowed the chewed contents before speaking.

"Sorry, I'll stop."

"So, about your new tattoo idea?" I questioned, flicking the same switch Justin did and knocking the blender off. The sweet, fruity aroma filled my nostrils as I removed the cap, wiping the gooey splatter on the lid with my finger and licking it clean. Justin groaned quietly, covering it with a deep cough as I poured the healthy smoothie into two glasses.

"Right, uh—I was thinking of getting a rose of my leg with Scarlett's name in one of the petals." He replied, moving his head as I reached into the upper cabinet and grabbed the box of colourful straws. "Beneath my praying hands. I thought that if I got her name under there, it would show that I'll always be praying for her and that she'll be safe in the hands of god. And it being a tattoo and everything, it means that she'll always be safe in gods hands."

Swirling the straw around the pink mixture and sipping at the healthy smoothie while smiling. I sighed in delight — not only of the delicious taste. "I think that's a really sweet idea and it is your body, you can do what you like with it."

Raising his own glass to his lips, he took a generous gulp and left a trace of pink foam along his upper lip making me giggle. He furrowed his brows as I reached forward and swiped the access smoothie with the tip of my finger. He chuckled, wiping his mouth as I continued to sip on the healthy drink.

"You had smoothie." I giggled. "I've always wanted one, you know."

His brows shot up in surprise as he almost choked on his smoothie. "You have?"

I nodded, smiling. "From I was a teenager. I always thought they looked awesome, especially the real cute and pretty ones. I'd never goes as far as Lil Twist or Pink! but I'd definitely like one or two."

"Why don't we go then?"

"What? Now?"

"Not now, but say, an hour or two?" He suggested, taking the last gulp of his smoothie and placing the glass into the dishwasher. "I'll ring mom and ask if she could mind Scarlett while we go. We won't be that long and she keeps complaining that she's in need of a grandma and granddaughter day."

I grinned, "I'm so excited!"

He laughed, "You're too cute. Go get ready and I'll call mom."

Grabbing the bowl of fruit and half-drunk smoothie, I wriggled past him with a grin. Suddenly I was stopped. Glancing up in confusion, Justin dipped my head and placed his lips atop of mine, giving me a spine-tingling yet simple kiss.
