"Higher, daddy!" Andru cried out in excitement.

"You sure? It's colder up there!" Butch warned him, his smile widening as his son nodded.

"Yes, I'm ready! Do your best!" The pup insisted.

"Alright, here we go! Hang on tight!" With that, Butch launched into the air, his giant wings catching flight as he flew higher.

Andru grinned, before laughing. "This is amazing, Dad!"

Suddenly, Butch just stopped. Froze up there in the sky.

"Dad?" Andru crawled up onto his father's head and rested his paws in between the top of Butch's forehead, causing his father's ears to flick. Butch was staring at a hologram. It was vaguely familiar to Andru.

It was a hologram of Kade.

Tears soon began forming. But they weren't the same tears they were a few months ago. No, these were mostly filled with joy, only a bit sadness. Joy to see his mate again, even if it wasn't a physical form. Sadness due to missing him.

"I told you...you'd be a great father, and look at you now, Butch." The hologram spoke. Kade smiled.

"Kade." Butch said slowly.

"Who is that, daddy?" Andru looked at Kade.

"I am also your father. You are very lucky to have two. Sadly, I passed away, so I wasn't able to see you grow up, but Butch is doing a great job raising you on his own."

The tan wolf merely blushed as he heard his lover's voice once more. "Actually, I got some help from Trevis and Ramon...some tips, if you will."

"I figured." Kade chuckled.

"Another daddy? Yay!" Andru sprung towards Kade. Butch tried to catch the pup, but failed.

Suddenly, Kade also got wings and no longer became a hologram, but was now solid, and as real as ever. He caught Andru, by having him landing on his stomach.

"Y-you're back? F-for real?"

"No, I'm sorry. I have to go back soon. I get a few visitations though." Kade answered as Andru buried his face into Kade's chest fur.

"I thought I recognized you." Andru muttered quietly. Kade gently placed his paws on his son's back, securing him and making sure he was safe.

"I'm surprised you did at all. It was a very long time ago..."

"A few months isn't that long." The russet colored pup pointed out.

"For you, it is. In about a year, before you know it, you'll be full grown." Kade told him. "Wolves grow and mature differently than humans."
