The white wolf woke with a start, opening his eyes to see his mother peacefully resting beside him.
The adolescent stretched out his legs before his pupils gazed onto the other dens surrounding his and his mother's. A hint of the dawn's light was shining brightly on a few of the small rock-like caves, and soon, Ryone saw more wolves walk out of them. One of them, to his disappointment, was a brown and white wolf, named Akira.
Akira's fur was a mixture of the two colors, starting from brown, before fading to white. He was also a teenager, so the white fur was natural and not from old age. He had had the pelt ever since he was born.
Akira smirked and trotted up to Ryone, who tucked his tail between his legs.
"Hey, freak. Shouldn't you be inside? You wouldn't want to get a cold." A disturbing grin spread across Akira's muzzle.
"Please leave me alone, Akira. I didn't ask to have my morning ruined by you." Ryone whimpered.
This made Akira frown. "Wow, you are really are stupid, aren't ya, cry-bone?"
"I don't believe so, Akira. I believe that is a stupid comeback."
A growl was released from Akira's throat.
"Really? Again, Akira? Can't you find anything better to do than to bully my son?" Celeste's voice put in.
A deep red blush rose to Akira's cheeks. "I'm sorry, ma'am." He glanced down.
Ryone chuckled a little at Akira before looking up at his mother who still had a scowl on her face, causing Ryone to grimace. "Both of you should behave differently. That includes you, Ryone. Why can't you boys get along?"
"Hey, I'm the victim here, mom!" Ryone insisted, his voice coming out in a high squeak.
