For the past six days tahimik kaming namuhay dito. Saganang pagkain. No lefters. And a normal life.
Until the morning of Day 37 came. We all woke up by a loud scream outside.

"What the fuck was that?" Tanong ni Alex. Tumayo kaming lahat.

Kinuha ko ang espada ko at dahan-dahang lumabas ng kwarto. Naramdaman kong sumunod sila. Pero napahinto ako sobrang dilim. Wala kasing gas ang generator ng resort kaya hindi namin nailawan. At tyaka madaling araw pa lang. Hindi pa sumisikat ang araw.

"Flashlight Kat oh." I heard Logan beside me. Inabutan ako nito ng flashlight. Nakita kong may flashlight na itong hawak. I turn the flashlight on at inilawan ang nilalakaran ko.

"Ano kaya yun?" Pabulong na tanong ni Ria. Sumunod pala siya.

"Si baby KL?" I asked.

"She's with us."

"What? Nagising?"

"Yup. Pero ano kaya yun?"

"I think tao yun." Luke said.

"Yeah. That's what I thought too." Sangayon ni Logan. Yun din ang naisip ko. Lefters don't scream. Human do. Eh sino naman kaya yun? Tyaka paano sila nakapasok sa property? As far as I know nakalocked sa loob ang gate. Unless they tress passed.

"Dito." Mahinang sabi ni Michael. Tinuro nito ang labasan papunta sa swimming pool. Nang makalabas kami sa pinto nakakita kami ng silhouette ng batang lalaki sa edge ng pool. Bata?

"Sam?" Tanong ni Ria mula sa likod ko. Si Sam? Impossible.

I saw the kid moved and faced us na natigilan sa paglalakad.

"Kuya Jeremy! May mga tao!" Sigaw nito. The voice is familiar and Jeremy? Oh shit! Hindi kaya?

"SAAAAM!" Sigaw ni Ria. I saw how she run to the kid. Nagtaka pa ako ng makitang hindi na nito bitbit si baby KL kaya nilingon ko ang likod ko and in there I saw Luke holding the baby. Napabalik ang tingin ko kay Ria ng marinig kong pumapalahaw na ito ng iyak.

"Bro!" Sigaw ni Michael. I looked at the pool. I saw Jeremy emerged from the water. He holds out his hand and grab a hand on the pool. He help Rona to get up. Rona?! Shit!

"Rooooooon!" I screamed. I rushed to the pool and hugged her. "Grabe namiss kita!" Sigaw ko.

Naramdaman kong niyakap ako nito pabalik.

"Akala ko Kath hindi na tayo magkikita." Iyak ni Rona. "Grabe yung takot ko ng makitang ang layo na ng kotse niyo sa amin. We stayed inside the house for hours before we ran outside. Nagantay kami na balikan niyo kami at may makarealized na naiwan kami kaso wala."

We listened to her as she tells the story of them. Palabas na daw sila ng nagulat daw siya ng biglang umandar at umalis ang sasakyan. They tried to call us pero we didn't budge. She even witnessed how Mang Makoy throw Aling Rosanna's limp body from the truck and how he followed his wife. Sam and her even saw how lefters ate the couple. They stayed inside the house for hours until morning to wait for us to come back kaso we didn't. The lefters are trying to break in to eat them too. Kaya she decided to go out at habulin kami. Dumaan sila sa likod bahay na kaunting lefters pa lang daw ang meron at tumakbo papasok sa gubat. They fought their lives. She stabbed every lefters who are trying to get in their way out. Sam help her. For the whole day they run and fought lefters. Until night came. They're tired from the fight and hungry too. Palabas na sila sa gubat ng makasalubong ng isang kumpol ng lefters. She thought its their end. She's too tired to fight. She's too scared. They walked trying to avoid them kaso Sam passed out. Dala na rin siguro ng gutom at pagod. Natakot siya for Sam. She really felt as if she is his big sister. So she try to carry him. Kaso she can't. So she decided to stab every lefters na magtatry na kuhain si Sam sa kanya. Even if she's too tired to make a move pinilit niya ang sarili niya so they can survive.
