"So, the gang was over last night, huh?" Tony asked the kitchen collectively.

"Pretty sure a few of them are still passed out in the basement," Jan laughed.

"Stayed over? What is this, junior high?" Mike scoffed.

"I'd rather them be passed out in the basement than driving drunk out of their minds," Denise shrugged honestly.

"So who's here?" Arthur asked.

"I have no idea," both women shrugged, and then Denise added,

"Mikey, go check."

Although an adult man, Mike could not say no to his mother. So he opened the basement door and crept down the stairs quietly.

He couldn't help but chuckle at what he saw. It was something out of high school, after one of the many parties Jimmy and Haz had thrown.

First his eye was drawn to Liz and JB. The two were tangled on the love-seat, smiles alight on both their faces. Her head was tucked under the crook of his neck, and a blanket was strewn over their bodies lazily. It was crazy; they had been together as long as Mike had known them.

Then he saw Christian and Erik. Christian was on the recliner, a fleece blanket thrown over his legs. He was snoring, and he was drooling, too. Erik was at the foot of the recliner, his body scrunched up in the fetal position. He had a throw pillow under his head.

Next was Carolyn, who was curled up in a ball next to the coffee table. Charlotte was horizontal above her.

Finally Mike looked to Hazel and Logan, and couldn't really believe what he saw. Logan and Hazel weren't tangled up like he'd expect. Hazel and Logan were holding hands, and they were under the same blanket, but Hazel was curled up to Jimmy's side.

"Mike?" Hazel mumbled, her eyes fluttering open slightly.

"Morning, kiddo. You hungover?" Mike asked with a chuckle. Hazel shook her head and yawned.

"Nah."

"You think I should go out and get some breakfast from McDonald's?"

"That would be nice," Haz nodded with another yawn, and Mike smiled.

"Alright. Go back to bed, Haz. I'll be home in a little while." He went over and kissed her head. "So sleep. I'll bring the food back."

"You're the best," she smiled.

"Will you guys shut the fuck up?" JB's deep voice mumbled, and then Liz hit him.

"Shut up, John Bartholomew. And thanks for the Mickey D's, Mikey G.," she giggled sleepily. "I'm funny. Make sure you get some hash browns."
