"Babe, you alright in there?" Logan called. He was getting a little worried. Haz had been in the bathroom with the door closed and locked for a little under fifteen minutes.

"I'm fine!" she insisted, her eyes welling up with tears. They spilled down her cheeks, and she was having trouble breathing. The only thing she could think was,

What if he doesn't want this right now? What if he's not ready? What if I'm not ready?

"Haz, you're really worrying me babe," Logan frowned. He tried the door again. It was still locked.

What if she's in there with a handful of pills? he thought. What if she's got razor in her hand? What if, what if, what if?

Oh stop, his reasonable half scolded. She would never.

"Babe, let in me," he pleaded. "I just want to know you're okay."

"L-Logan, I'm fine," she insisted, wiping her tears away with the back of her hand. "I swear."

"I just want to see you. Please," he said, his voice no more than a whisper. "Haz, you're really worrying me, baby."

"F-Fine," she sniffled. She wiped the tears running down her cheeks and pulled her Patriots boxers up over her legs. Logan's shirt hung loosely on her body. She unlocked the door and opened it slowly to reveal Logan standing worriedly. Not saying anything, he sunk to his knees and wrapped his arms around her. She started crying into him.

"Hey, hey. Babe, c'mon. You know you can trust me," he said softly. He kissed her head and held her close to his body. She just broke into another chorus of sobs, burying her head in his chest. "Haz, what's wrong?"

"You're gonna hate me," she sobbed, her voice barely coming out. "You're gonna hate me, Logan!"

"Baby, no I'm not. Whatever's up, we'll work out together. It's not just you and me. It's us. Whatever's bothering you we can work out together," he said sincerely. She looked up at him. He brushed away a tear that slipped down her cheek with his thumb. She stood up and started pacing the bathroom.

"I'm not ready!" she said frantically. "I'm only 23! I'm 23, Logan! I'm practically a child! I'm not ready yet! And I don't even know if you want this! And never mind what my parents-"

"Hazel," he said softly, standing up, "what the hell are you even talking about?"

"This!" she almost shouted, breaking down again. She rifled through the trash, eventually finding that damned little device. She threw it at Logan who bobbled it.

He's gonna leave. I'm gonna be alone. I'm not ready for this. I'm not ready.

"Oh my God, Haz," he said with widened eyes, covering his mouth with his hand. He dropped the pregnancy test and enveloped Hazel in a massive hug.
