Jae Hwa winced as she felt the cold wet asphalt against her skin. She had caused trouble with some older guys, and now she had to pay her price. She had promised herself to try to stay out of trouble, but these guys made it so hard to keep that promise.
Her face was probably all swollen and bruised by now. She could feel the blood taste in her mouth. The guys walked over to where she was laying. She tried to gain enough strength to stand up on her feet and defend herself, but she couldn't move an inch. It was hopeless. The guys smirked at the sight of her. It was probably here everything would end. She closed her eyes, as a single tear ran down the side of her face.
"She looks quite cute like this. Doesn't she?" the older one asked chuckling. Jae Hwa could sense something in the distance. Her vision was blurry and her head was throbbing. She hoped with all strength she had left that it would be someone that could help her.
