A Week's Worth of Time

READER'S POV

"(Y/N)..... my child......"

I woke up and saw my mother hovering over me.

"Mommy? Where's Toothless?"

"Now, now my child. I have something to tell you. I'm going to give you a week with Nightclaw."

"And?"

"Then, you have to choose your eternal destiny. Thats all I have to say now child."

She disappeared in a puff of smoke and the world went dark again.

TOOTHLESS'S POV

I fell asleep and was dreading to wake up.

I dont want to leave her.....

As I've said, she is my world......

"Toothless......"

I heard her angelic voice whisper into my ear.

"Wake up......"

"But I dont want to lose you....."

My heart ached with sorrow.

I didnt want to wake up to see her lifeless body in front of me.

I felt something soft brush my face.

"I'm not leaving you..... remember?"

I fluttered open my eyes to see that I was in the forest.

My angel was lying on top of me with her head on my chest.

"Morning sleepyhead....." she teased.

"Y-you're still here......."

"Of course........ Im not leaving......"

She kissed me cheek and messed up my hair.

"Hey...... "

She pulled me up but I whined and complained.

"But I wanna sleep........"

"Oh come on Baby........"

"Fine.....as long as you're with me....."

She pecked my cheek and pulled me into the woods.

"Where're we going?"

"Who knows?!"

She giggled like a child and pulled me deeper.

I act like her puppy dog, I know..... but she's just so adorable.

"You're so cute when you act like a kid."

She looked at me lovingly and I ran my hand through her hair.

She led me to a beautiful beachside.

"Wow..... I didnt know this was here....." she breathed.

"Wanna go for a swim?"

"Hmmm...... why not? Hold on, let me take this dress off......."

"Let me help......"

I unzipped the back of her dress as she threw it aside.

I took off my shirt and flung myself into the water and splashed around like a kid.

"THIS IS FUN!!!!"

"Hey! Wait for me!!"

"Okay....."

I swam closer to shore and carried her into the water.

"Toothless, you're so strong....."

"Well, I carry you everyday. Im used to it."

I let her go as I swam around in the warm water.

"Toothless......"

"Yeah?"

She swam up to me and hugged me.

She pulled me underwater.

"HEY!!"

I shook my head in the water and looked at her swimming around him in circles.

I smiled and pulled us out of the water.

We both emerged soaking wet.

We laughed and swam back to shore.

We sat in the sun, drying ourselves so we wouldnt freeze.

I realised how perfect she looked as she smiled in the sunlight.

She sat up and sighed loudly.

READER'S POV

I sighed as I thought about what my mother said.

"One week with Nightclaw......"

"(Y/N)....... whats up?"

I lay my head on his chest.

"Do you remember mom?"

"M-my...... mom?"

We didnt talk about our past much, so this really surprised him.

"F-frankly...... I dont remember much about her, or even you when we were younger........"

"I see......"

"Why do you ask?"

"I-its just been a thought in my mind....."

He shrugged as we lay on the sand.

It was getting dark soon.

The setting sun glowed red and the blue sky turned into a beautiful mixture of pink and orange.

TOOTHLESS'S POV

I felt my angel move closer to me.

Just then, I realised we were still in our undergarments.

I felt the heat rush up to my face.

And as if on cue, she turned and smirked at my flustered face.

"What?"

"N-n-n-nothing......."

Oh great, now Im officially the king of stuttering.

"Are you embarassed 'cause Im not wearing proper clothes?"

"N-N-NO!!! I-I-I-I!!! ARGH!!!"

She laughed and kissed my cheek.

"C'mon, we've done this in the cove last time and you werent this bad...."

"HEY!!!"

She chuckled loudly.

"You really are cute when you're blushing....."

I kept quiet so I wouldnt make it any worse.

"If it makes you comfortable, we could put on our clothes?"

"Yea......"

She pushed me playfully and got up.

She threw on her wedding dress and I put on my suit.

"Better stutter boy?"

"H-HEY!!!!"

Im pretty sure I was a tomato now.....
