"Promise me you'll wait for me? Until I.... awaken? From my..... state......"
Of course, I'll wait for you...
I rubbed my eyes sleepily and looked at the bed where (Y/N) was fast asleep.
A small tear was rolling down her porcelain skin.
I wiped it with my hand and stroked her cheek.
*bam* *bam* *bam*
"Huh? Who is that...." I muttered to myself.
The door swung open.
"(Y/N)?!!! ARE YOU OKA--"
The gang was standing at the doorway with looks of shock mixed with sadness.
"So.... i-it's true........ THE RUMORS ARE TRUE?!!!!!!!"
"She cant be in a coma.... SHE JUST CANT!!!!"
They burst into tears.
I nodded my head slowly and lay my head against the side of the bed.
"A-Astrid.....?"
"H-hiccup? WHY IS SHE IN A COMA?!!! SHE DOESNT DESERVE ANY OF THIS!!! THIS IS A CRUEL NIGHTMARE!!!! IT JUST CANT BE REAL!!!!"
She sobbed into Hiccup's chest as he calmed her down.
"Guys....... l-lets go..... Toothless?"
"I'm not going. Do whatever you want. I wont budge."
I glared at them one last time.
"Fine. C-come on guys..... let's go....."
They slouched away with a few dry sobs.
I stroked her hand gently.
Why cant I just wake up?
ASTRID'S POV
I sobbed as the thought of my close friend in a coma haunted me.
The rest of the gang were waiting outside.
"How can Odin do this to her.... she didnt do anything wrong....." I sobbed.
"Hey.... shh..... calm down.... she will wake up.... eventually...." Hiccup said reassuringly.
He's still here with me.... even after the fights we had this whole month?
After everything I said to him?
"H-hiccup.... I'm so sorry...... I shouldnt have doubted you....... you were drunk...... it wasnt your fault....."
"I-I.... I'm sorry too..... Astrid..... will you forgive me?"
"Yes.... you muttonhead...."
He pulled me in by the waist until there wasnt any space between our lips.
We stopped when we heard a door slam shut.

I should be happy for them... I know..... but....
It just pains me to know that, I might not experience that love in a long time......
