Chapter 19:

Lux POV:

When I smelled Elizabeth's old uniform, I didn't want to believe it. Everything seemed to go so fast, as I gripped the fabric tighter and tighter with each thought that came to mind.

I know where Aria is, I know who she's pretending to be, and the truth is: I'm not scared of this bitch anymore.

Jackie POV:

Ever since that day when Lux first came to Forks High School, my whole world changed. I learned that there are supernatural beings living beside humans, and Lux is one of them. (Note to self: When all this is done, find out what she is.) I learned that someone's trying to frame Lux by looking like her and driving the same car she owns. I learned that the framer also kidnapped one of my best friends, Mina, along with 5 other random kids from my school, and they've been missing for days. I also learned that Lux is searching for her, and when she finds her, they will fight.

God I hope she's alright.

I sighed, and shrugged my Victoria's Secret backpack farther up on my back, as I rounded the street corner. I had about another mile until I got to Gretchen's house. Great.

I breathed in the dewy morning air of Forks, and tucked a strand of blonde hair behind my ear.

I just hope they can find Mina and the other kids safely, catch the kidnapper/framer, and bring Lux home safely. Then maybe I can pry her into telling me what she is and other stuff like that.

I'm not gonna lie... I've been making a chart of all the inhumane things I've seen her and the Cullen's demonstrate, to figure out what they are.

Speed, strength, Lux's ability to turn invisible, weird eye colors (gold and Lux's purple), they don't eat, they don't sleep... They seem like werewolves... But don't wolves eat a lot? Or then I would say vampire, but then why would Lux be able to turn invisible? And the weird eye colors seem to suggest fairy, but I'm not even going GO there...

Suddenly my thoughts vanished as the cold blade of a knife skimmed my cheek lightly, leaving a burn everywhere it trailed. Goosebumps covered my arms and legs, as I gasped.

"Such a pretty girl, it's such a shame that you had to get involved." A chiming young girl's voice said from behind me giddily. I heard her giggle as my heart pounded in my ears. I was frozen in fear.

It's her. I'm next.

The world went black before I could scream.

Lux POV:

That. Cold hearted. Monster. Blood sucking. Son. Of. A. Bitch.

"LUX?!?!? Tell us who is Aria disguised as!!!!!" Rosalie begged me, shaking my shoulders roughly.

Rosalie, Alice, and Elizabeth were standing in front of me, practically pulling their hair out in anticipation. I took a deep breath, and growled.

"It's Zoe. My "best friend" Zoe Parker, who's living in your house right now, waiting to kill us all." I snapped, as I felt my eyes turn black in rage.

They all gasped.

"No way!"

"But she's-"

"Let me smell!"

They all shouted at once. I handed the uniform to Alice and Rose as they smelled, their pale faces turning grave. Their expressions confirmed my suspicions. I let a killer live in my house for over ten years at my old apartment, and now I brought her to my new vampire family.
