Chapter 3:

Lux POV:

I was happy that I knew one person in this weird place! Shadow had come to find me and protected me from the strange werewolves that I saw before. When all was calm again, I commanded Shadow to lay down nicely in the grass.

We walked inside the gorgeous house and sat down on the sofa. Only the girls were here and so was the adorable little girl that stayed close to the pretty brunette.

"Okay, here drink this it will help your throat." The blonde girl said, handing me a water bottle that I couldn't see through.

Okay I don't even know why I woke up at a strangers house, why I'm not breathing, why I saw WEREWOLVES, or why I turned invisible when I was scared. So why should I drink something that comes from these strange people?

Oh what the hell.

I took a sip and moaned, making the girls giggle. I normally would've flushed red in embarrassment, but my face just didn't seem to heat up and I was to busy chugging the rest of the water bottle.

It was a sweet fruity liquid, that seemed to stain my lips as I drank it.

"So where do you want to begin, Lux?" The older woman of the bunch asked me, and I let out a bark I laughter.

"The beginning, please." I laughed and she smiled, nodding.

"Okay well my name is Esme, the short dark haired girl sitting next to you is Alice, the brunette by the little girl on the couch is Bella, the blonde who gave you the drink was Rosalie, and finally little Renesmee is the youngest of us Cullen's." Esme explained. I gawked at her.

"You have a lot of kids." I whispered and she laughed, somehow able to hear my quiet whisper to myself.

"Yes well I also have boys, not the wolves you met before, the other paler ones. The blonde one around my age is Carlisle, my husband." She added and I nodded.

Okay Bella, Rosalie, Alice, and all the boys are Esme and Carlisle's children. Renesmee is Bella's little girl. The wolves? I have no clue.

"Okay I got that much. What's next?" I asked, flipping a dark wavy strand of hair behind my shoulder.

"A very strange idea, will you promise to be open minded?" Esme asked me and all the girls looked at me cautiously.

"Of course Esme." I replied and she nodded.

"Well dear, the Cullen's are vampires." Esme said softly and everyone around me looked at me in extreme nervousness.

What, vampires? Like Dracula? I thought that was fake...

It IS fake!

"Haha funny joke, now seriously why am I here?" I demanded and Rosalie stood up.

"Lux feel your pulse." Rosalie said and I did so, feeling absolutely nothing.

So I was right. I truly am dead.

Maybe vampire isn't so far fetched...

"Nothing right? That's because us vampires don't eat sleep... Or breathe." Rosalie explained an my eyes grew wide.

I'm in a room full of vampires!

I shot up surprisingly fast and took a book off the book shelf begin me, holding it out for defense.

"Stay back, I have my phone and 911 is on speed dial." I said and the girls laughed.

Then Alice was at my side in one second taking the book from my hands and I screamed.
