Lucas's POV

"Fresh air!" I happily exclaim while breathing in as much air as I can. "Finally I'm out of that stupid hospital!"

I listen to the sweet voice of the girl I love laugh at my happiness.

"I guess being inside for so long was boring."

I get closer to her.

"Not a moment." I smirk. In one swift movement, she's in my arms, our faces inches away from each other.

I love this girl with such a passion that it amazes me.

"Lucas?"

"Hmm," I answer, looking in to her chocolate brown eyes.

"What are you thinking about?"

"This," I say before my lips collide with hers. Minutes passed and it seemed like the world revolved around us. The world would spin and we were the center of the world.

When we separate, she looks at me with her big brown eyes, making my insides melt like butter. After a while of standing in the middle of the sidewalk staring into each other's eyes like a bunch of love-struck dorks, we begin walking to her car. My hand intertwines with her and I kiss her knuckles, making her blush.

"I LOVE YOU," I scream in the giant parking garage, my voice echoing into the depths of the giant garage.

"Shut up you dork," she says smiling.

"Hey I'm your dork," I say proudly.

"Yeah..."

"Mrs. Riley Friar..." I say quietly, thinking she couldn't listen to me.

"Has a nice ring to it, Huh?"

"Yeah," I smirk. "Maybe one day."

"One day..."

"Soon," we say in unison.

I stop walking causing her to come to a stop. I pull her into my arms and kiss her again, this time more passionately than the first.

"I seriously love you, Riley," I say looking into her eyes.

"It's Understandable." She smiles. "I would love someone like me, too."

"Wow. Okay Ms. Cocky, let's go home."

Hand in hand, we walk to the car.

"Hey Riles? You're driving right?"

"Yeah."

"Okay good."

Getting into the car, I suddenly felt like someone was pressing down on my chest and I started to hyperventilate.

"Lucas! What wrong?"

"I... I don't know..." I can barely say.

"Lucas calm down."

She's starting to sound funny.

"Lucas, look at me!"

I look at her, my heart bound to beat out of my chest.

"Calm down baby..."

"Riley..."

"Shhh. Breathe."

"R-Riley..."

She grabs my hand and put it on her heart. I look frantically, looking for home, looking for my safe place, and looking for her.

"Lucas look at me in the eyes. You're okay. You're going to be fine. I'm here."

My heartbeat slightly slows down. She gets closer to me and I lay my head on her shoulder.

"It's okay baby. You'll be fine," she cooed as she petted my head.

My heartbeat got slower and it was starting to seem like I could breathe again.

"Are you okay?" Riley asks when my breathing seemed normal.

"Y-Yeah."

"You sure you want to go home today?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Buckle up but before you do..." She gives me a peck on the lips. "You're here with me. I'll keep you safe."

"I love you Riles."

"I love you too. Now buckle up," she says as she backed out and leaves the parking garage.

I close my eyes for what seems like 5 minutes but actually is an hour.

"Hey," someone whispers sweetly. "We're home."

"Home..."

"Yeah come on."

Our hands intertwine while walking back to the room. Once we get to the room, we drop everything and go lay down. My arms wrap around her body while she wraps herself around my torso.

"Hey baby..."

"Hmm?"

"Thanks for staying with me at the hospital."

"Well no problem. I wasn't going to leave you alone."

I kiss her forehead and she looks up. Before I know it, we're kissing again. This time more fiercely than the last. She takes off my shirt and I do the same with her. I pin her down on the bed.

"Are you sure?" I breathe out, trying to look into her eyes.

"Yeah," she whispers as she wraps her legs around my torso pinning me on top of her.

Hours pass and when we're done it's about midnight. First night home and that happens. Wow.

"Baby..."

"Yeah?" she says drowsily.

"I love you."

"Haha yeah I love you too." She closes her eyes and falls asleep, her head on my chest.

My beautiful Riley... I fall asleep with her body intertwined with mine, smiling because she was still here with me.
