Riley's POV

I stayed with Lucas the whole time while he was in the hospital. It was probably one of the best times of my life. All we did was laugh and watch movies and be the typical lovey dovey movie couple but I adored every second with him. Minutes, hours, and days passed without us even noticing. Occasionally, Maya would come to visit trying to remind me about Ian.

"Hey Riles."

"Yeah Maya?"

"Ian has been asking for you..."

When she mentioned his name, Lucas got a sour frown on his face and when I saw I smiled and kiss his right palm. He simmered down and smiled, looking into my eyes tenderly while I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Okay and?"

"He seems mad. And by mad I mean Lucas mad when he found out you were being bullied."

I was beginning to get worried. Lucas has been the only person I've seen get mad like that and to know someone else is capable of that anger is frightening to think about. Just to think what he can do to Lucas or me... He can do anything except hurt Lucas. I'll kill him if he touches my Broken Boy.

"If he even comes close to touching you, I'll rip him to shreds," Lucas says as he tightens his grip on my hand. He's really passionate about my safety and I think it's really cute.

"You don't have to rip him to shreds, just slightly beat him to a pulp," I say with a smirk on my face.

"That's my girl," Lucas says with an incredibly proud smile on his face.

"Whoa calm down, Bonnie and Clyde."

We all laugh at the thought.

"No but really Riley if he ever came close to you in a sense where he wanted to hurt you, I don't know what I'd have to do to contain that anger."

"Lucas, don't worry. I'll text him right now."

"Okay but don't do anything stupid. I can't trust you around other guys."

"Look who's talking," I say with a smirk.

I look up and he's giving me the death glare of all death glares and I find it hilarious. I stand, get close enough to his ear so only he can hear and whisper, "That death glare is nothing compared to what I'm going to do to you once we are out of this hospital room."

"Should I be scared?" He asks playfully.

"Maybe," I wink at him and give him a kiss on the corner of his mouth. "I'll be outside."

"Okay baby."

"Riles be careful," Maya warns.

"I'll be fine."

I exit his room and text Ian.

*Hi Ian. *

*RILEY WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? *

*I told you. I was going to visit Lucas at the hospital. *

*I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE GOING TO BE THERE ALL WEEK. *
