Keaton’s POV
After hanging out at Monster Burger, Marley and I hung out in the stands and backstage. Wes and Drew were already warming up so I joined in as Marley sat front row listening and commenting how we could ‘control the stage’ better, jez doesn’t that sound like someone we know. **cough** Demi ** cough** I’m just kidding. After warming up we headed for wardrobe and got changed for the show. I put on a blue t-shirt and some dark jeans, along with a black Snapback a fan had sent me. I loved that snapback and so did Wes; it was like my lucky charm so I wore it a lot. Soon it was time for the concert and I glanced over to Marley who stood in the door way as I got my ear device put in.
“Wow handsome” she winked at me.
“Hey Marley you ready? The concert starts in 10” I smiled back.
“Yup I’m ready, are you okay you still seem nervous?”
“Yeah it’s just… you”
“What? You’re nervous because of me? Why?” she asked shocked.
Crap I never told her yet but I can’t now…
“Yeah I’m just trying to impress you” I was able to make up.
“Oh, ha you always impress me” she smiled looking at my hat.
“What?” I asked as she eyed the hat with a smile on her face.
“I sent you that hat…”
“Really, it’s my lucky charm. Which means you are my lucky charm” I winked trying to be flirty.
“Thanks” she smiled as I pulled her in for a quick hug.
“Mr. Stromberg…. Mr. Wes Stromberg and Mr. Chadwick are waiting for you at the risers. You’re on in 5 minutes” the stage manager said to me.
“Yes I will be right there” I nodded.
“Okay well I better get my seat; I will see you after the show. Good luck out there” she smiled as we hugged once again.
“See you out there” I whispered as she left for her seat.
I went over to the risers to meet up with Wes and Drew.
“Hey guys you ready?”
“Are you ready?” Wes asked me.
“As ready as I’ll ever be”
“Good luck guys, now let’s blow the roof off this place!” Drew yelled as we got onto the riser.
“Play the clip!” the manager yelled.
I could hear the crowd scream as the clip played.
“In Three… Two… One! Bring them up!” he yelled as the platform rose and we appeared in the middle of the stage.
Fog smoked the stage and the band began to play ‘Sunset Blvd.’
“Let's take a trip to Sunset Boulevard in the city of stars, uh huh
the city of blinding lights and starry eyes,
I said now welcome to the city of angels, whoa City of angels, whoa!”
