[Andrea]

"Its gonna take me a minute to get adjusted to this. " Deon sighed.

I was finally done with Decorating the entire house which took a month and also cost us a fortune.

I went with a gorgeous Red Sectional with red and tan pillows. A tan rug with red trimming, tan and red accessories, everything in the kitchen was red or tan, our bedroom was decorated the same way, and I bought a million candles to mask the smell of his loud ass weed.

"Is it bad? " I ask.

"Hell nah. I actually like it, I'm just saying it don't look the same no more ya know, "

I nod my head.

Deon took out his phone and walked into the kitchen.

"Look at my girlfriend yall, her big headed ass "

I giggle and cover my face.

"Stop bae! I look horrible. "

"Why she lying? She looks perfect. Look at you girl. Ain't my girlfriend beautiful yall? "

I smile up at him.

He stopped filming me and sat on the couch with me.

"I wanna take you somewhere today. Show you a couple of thangs. " he says just above a whisper.

"Where? " I ask.

"To the moon."

"Are you high?" I giggled.

"High off you. " he burst out laughing.

"But really you'll see. I think you'll like this because.. you know I ain't really opened up to you about a lot of things.. so yea. Go get dressed " he said before slapping my thighs.

I got up and picked out my outfit for the day.

I went with something dressy since I didn't know what was gonna be of my day.

Deon had a big bag filled with something. I couldn't make out exactly what it was.

About after a ten minute drive we pulled up to the cemetery.

"I'm taking you to meet moms today.. if that's alright with you.. "

I smile and nod my head.

"I feel like in this relationship you need to be exposed to everything to have a better understanding of me. "

We walked to his mother's grave and he laid it a cover down for us to sit.

"Mom. I know I ain't been here in a minuet but.. things been crazy. I promise to visit more. But this visit is very special. I wanted to introduce you to the love of my life, Andrea. Mom you'd love her, she's gorgeous, Funny, and she has a daughter named yoheaven who's amazing. I'm telling you mama one day ima marry her."

Tears escaped from his eyes.

"Anything you'd like to say?"

"Mrs Reina id like to thank you for raising this amazing man beside me, you did well and you'd be so proud of the man he has become. I would've loved to have the chance to meet you, from what I've heard you were perfect. But today I will promise you this, I will do right by your son and I will do anything to make him happy. "

Deon hugged me tightly.

"I love you Drea. "

"I love you to Deon. "

We sat in silence for a moment.

"She was uh.. murdered.. " he started to say.

"I was In Jersey at the time.. I'll never forget that call.. my cousin tony called me and he was balling, I mean crying hard, and he goes 'mama dead man. She gone ' I'm sitting there startled. Like.. what? What you mean mama dead? He's goes on 'she was caught In some crossfire over on Shereville over at that corner store. She gone ' and with that.. I shut down. I hung up the phone and bought the next ticket back home. I wasn't in the right state of mind.. I started killing niggas to avenge my mama. But it ain't help me none cause It wasn't bringing her back.. she was gone. Ill never hear that goofy ass laugh again, I'll never get to see that lovely smile, I'll never be able to hug her.. ever again. "

I held him tighter and cried with him.

"I'm so sorry baby. "

He wiped his tears and stared blankly at her headstone.

"Don't be. She's not suffering anymore and I'm glad. "

A little bit later we left and everything was silent.

"Thank you for being there with me today. I really appreciate it."

I kissed his cheek and smiled.

"You don't have to thank me. Trust me sometimes I'm gonna need you to be there with me when I'm feeling low. "

We drove to pick up Yoheaven but I guess her and Kevin went somewhere.

The rest of the night me and deon went to the movies and movie hopped like kids.

The way he looked at me the entire night was with so much love.

It was finalized.

I was in love with him.
