Chapter 36 (the one with the party)

a week went by which means there are only 5 days left till Calum moves out. I was in pain but man was i hiding it well. Last week when i went out with Luke we sat in the park and talked for about 3 hours. He's such an amazing person and very easy to talk to. He wrapped his long ass arms around me firmly as i sobbed into his chest. At the end of the night he invited me to this party his friend Michael is throwing. I wanted to make my mother proud so i said yes. She was so happy when i told her i'm actually going out and when i mentioned i was going out with Luke she got even happier. Calum doesn't know i'm going mostly because he's spending so much time with his girlfriend. He even brought her home and slept with her. Not just once tho. Sometimes i spent my nights at Luke's because i just couldn't stand them anymore. It really pissed Calum off but the anger he takes out on me is totally unnecessary since he's the one having sex with some random girl he had found on the street. Luke and i didn't do anything he just cuddled me because he's kinda my best friend now.

Today i woke up , got ready and went downstairs where i found Calum and Brook making out on the kitchen counter. "Hey guys!" i said with a huge grin on my face as i opened the fridge to get some milk. "Could you please scoot over so I can eat without having Brook's ass all up in my cereal? thanks" i smiled and she rolled her eyes. "Babe i have to go Abby just called. " she kissed Calum and went out.Abby was probably her fellow prostitute. "You're such a bitch!" he slammed his hand down on the counter. "Can't you realize i'm with Brook now and i don't want to spend my time with you anymore? Why can't you just get along with the fact that i'm happier with Broook more than i ever was with you?" he yelled at me. "wow okay" i chuckled looking down . those words stabbed me like knife. "Well i'm sorry i wasted your time . Clearly i wasn't good enough for you. " i smiled and went upstairs.

Calum went to Brook's house and i was finally alone so I invited Luke over .
It was 8pm which means i only had an hour left to get ready for the party.
"Just leave your hair like that it looks amazing" he said running his hand through my hair .
"Are you sure about this outfit tho?" i turned around to look at him
"Trust me by the end of the night when you come home Calum will loose his shit . He'll be so jealous." he chuckled "I see your point" i giggled
"You ready? " he stood up checking his phone "it's 8:45" he said "I am " i smiled and we walked downstairs

we stopped in front of a big house . there were a lot of people in the house and even outside of the house. i was just about to get out of the car when Luke pulled me back in. "Kayla. be safe" he gave me a weird look. i laughed "i'm serious . I know how guys are especially the ones at this party." he gave me a worried look. "Don't worry" i smiled and we got out. people were looking at me probably because i'm new? We barely got inside there was so many people in the house. "Luke!" bunch of guys came our way "hi guys" he smiled "damn who's this ?" the red haired one smirked at me. "This is Kayla" he pulled me closer by wrapping his arm around my waist. "hi" i smiled as they all looked at me. "Nice to meet you Kayla I'm Michael." he shook my hand "This is Ashton,Dylan,James and Matt" Michael introduced me to all of the other drunken dudes i was surrounded with "Nice to meet you " i smiled and they all just smirked at me. i must say i felt quite insecure. "Are you two dating?" James asked us "oh no" we both shook our heads. they all just looked at each other with a smirk on their faces. "See you around. We're gonna get some drinks now" Luke said and we walked to the kitchen . There was no one in there which was weird. "Here you go" Luke handed me a red cup . I'm not quite sure what was in there but i liked it. "I don't want you to get lost" he smirked and with his hand around my waist we walked out to a room where all the noise was coming from. "fuck " i said to myself as we got out of the kitchen . "what's wrong ?" Luke looked at me. "Look" i pointed at a couple making out on the couch. "What a jerk" Luke said pulling me closer to him . It was Calum and Brook .
"Just ignore them and have fun . " he said into the crook of my neck. "Luke can you do me a favor" i bit my lip. "Yeah of course" he smiled pushing me against the wall . "Let's make that dick jealous" he smirked and kissed me. The kiss was passionate his hands were on my waist while mine were tugging onto his hair. As Luke kissed my neck i slowly opened my eyes to see Calum looking at us . He wasn't even paying any attention to the girl grinding on him . I closed my eyes and smiled to myself "He saw us" i whispered in Luke's ear. "Does he seem angry ?" he picked me up wrapping my legs around his waist. "Yeah" i giggled and we kissed
