chapter 45 ( the one with the pizza)

"You two know each other?" my mom says as she introduces us. "yep" i cheekily smile as if we were in friendly terms.

"Well that's amazing" both of our moms giggle . "yep amazing" she rolls her eyes.
Caroline and Brook sit on the couch in the living room . "Do you guys want anything to drink? some snacks?" i ask standing in front of them . "No thank you sweetheart" Caroline smiles at me while Brook rolls her eyes and chuckles under her breath.

I sigh and walk over to my mom who was standing in the kitchen making coffee. "Mom do i have to be here" i frown " what's wrong?" she places cups on the countertop. "Brook. It's a long story but i just can't stand her." i whisper throwing a quick glance to her. "at least try to get along with her" she places her hand on my shoulder " fine" i huff and follow my mom in the living room.

1 HOUR LATER
"Well we should probably get going" Caroline swings her purse over her shoulder "Finally" i whisper and Brook looks at me and gives me a dirty look. It's not that i don't like her mom. Her mom is such an angel compared to that Devil also known as Brook.

I did nothing but been nice to her while she just constantly threw rude comments at me. "It was nice meeting you" Caroline pulls me in for a hug while we were standing in front of our front door.

While my mom and her were saying goodbye to each other Brook approached me "You shouldn't be so rude to me you know? You have no idea what I'm capable of" She winks and i groan "What are you gonna do ? Sleep with Calum?" i laugh

" good luck with that" i roll my eyes. "Watch me" she pouts her lips and gets out . My mom closed the door behind them and i let out a loud grunt "Oh my god i can't stand her! I did this all for you , y'know?" i point my finger at her and she giggles

"What's up with you guys?" she walks over to the counter placing dirty dishes into the dishwasher. "It doesn't matter" i wave her off and run up to my room.
I take my phone and call Michael.

"Kayla!"
"Hi Mikey!"

"I'm just wondering if Calum's with you. He wasn't replying to my texts"
"oh..yeah he's here"
"okay just making sure he's still alive haha"
"hahah don't worry he's with me"

"Okay say hi to him and ask him if he's gonna be home by 12 because i'll order pizza"
