Chapter 44 (the one with the white top)

"Kayla?" she says once more. "Yes mom" i sigh. "Where's Calum?" he smiles and places a kiss on my upper neck.

"He's out" i bite away a laugh that i was about to burst in. " Oh okay " well tell him the lunch will be ready any minute." we both sigh in relief "You hurry up because the hemmings' are here"

"shit" calum whispers "yeah okay" i say and with that i hear her get out of my room.
"Oh my god " i nuzzle my head in Calum's chest. "that was amazing" he chuckles wrapping his arms around me. "Are you kidding me?"

i look up at him "we almost got caught" i slap his toned chest. "i meant the sex Kayla" he smirks "it was alright" i say sarcastically  "i'm kidding" i giggle as i notice his mouth turn into a frown.

"Come on let's go" i kiss his cheek and step out of the shower cabin. I quickly pull on my clean underwear and turn around to see Calum cutting me deep into my skin with his glare. "Calum stop" i blush "Stop what?" he laughs "Stop staring at me. " i snap.

"Why is that bothering you so much?" he chuckles pulling on his briefs.
"i feel uncomfortable" i look at my feet
"I'm sorry i just can't help myself" he kisses my cheek . i smile and hand in hand we get out of the bathroom to get our clothes.
"Luke?!" I scream and hide my half naked body with Calum's arm.

"I'm sorry" he looks away waiting for me to get dressed. "what are you doing here?" Calum sits on my bed.

"I was looking for Kayla and then suddenly i saw a naked couple walk out of the bathroom" he turns back around. "How long were you here" i bite my lip sitting on Calum's lap

"Long enough to know what you were doing in there" he smirks . I look at Calum. he had a smirk on his face as well. "Oh my god Luke get out" i laugh pushing him out the door "you too" i point at Calum and he does as told.

i close the door and lean against it . i hear them laughing in the hall and then closing the door which led to Calum's room. Them getting along makes me sick. I walk over to my wardrobe and quickly scan the shelves before pulling out my usual black shorts and a maroon top.

I take my phone and walk out of my room. I stop in the middle of the stairway noticing Luke and Calum were still in his room. I turn around and walk back up.

"Calum!" i whisper as i get in. "Yes baby?" he turns his head to look at me. "You can't go downstairs" i close the door behind me "What?why not?" Calum walks towards me. "I told my mom you were out?" i furrow my eyebrows "fuck" he runs his spare hand through his hair while the other one rests on my hipbone.

"Why don't you and i distract them" Luke stands up looking at me "meanwhile Calum can go out and ring on the doorbell as if he had just arrived" he smiles "i like that" i smile and boop his nose.

"Okay you two go downstairs i'll be down in a minute " Calum winks and Luke and I go to the kitchen . "Hi guys" i run to Liz to give her a quick hug. "Hey sweetie how you doing?" she smiles and i pull away "i'm okay" i nod and look at Luke who's complimenting my mom's cooking. I stand next to Luke as he takes a bagel and lifts it up for everyone to see.

"Can everyone just look at this bagel for a second..." he says and everyone turns their attention to a piece of bread. "Look how beautiful it is" luke grins and i see Calum quickly run behind them .

I see him raise his thumb as he laughs his way out. Finally he rings the doorbell. "Oh i wonder who it is" Luke says with a dramatic voice. I laugh at his bad acting as i run to let Calum in. "Oh look it's Calum" Luke points at him as i open the door.

I step aside and let him back in. "Hi guys" Calum walks to the table hugging my mom and sitting on his chair. They all give us weird looks but their weird glances disappear right when my mom places food on the table.

All three of us look at each other and laugh at how well that went.

THE NEXT DAY

I wake up in Calum's hands . I kiss his cheek before getting out of the bed. I go to my room and get ready for the day.  I walk downstairs. "Good morning honey" mom waves at me . "Hi" i sit next to her on the couch. "Kayla.." She turns her whole body towards me.

"Are you sure there's nothing going on between you and Calum?" she smiles. "No of cour-"
"Kayla come on" she places her hand on my thigh "I see the way he looks at you. Like he's ready to take a bullet for you or something" she giggles

"The way you act when you're around him. You seem happier. And so does he. " i blush "mom"
i try to cut her off "You can't seem to get your hands off of each other. You are allways hugging and cuddling" she runs her hand through her hair.

"Mom we're best friends. That's what best friends do" i stand up and walk over to the counter to get some coffee. "I refuse to believe that" she points her finger at me. "Believe what you want   There's nothing going on between us"  i take a cup out of the cabinet.

She doesn't say anything she just smiles and takes a sip of her tea. "Oh i almost forgot" She starts to approach me. "My friend from work is coming over today with her daughter. Please behave. "

i burst into laughter "behave? mom how old do you think i am?" i chuckle pouring boiling water into my cup "well you can sometimes be a bit sassy" she cracks a smile "ahh yes." i nod and take a sip of my coffee. "please don't be rude" she taps her fingers on the countertop.

"I'll try my best" i smile and she rolls her eyes.
i walk upstairs and open the door to Calum's room.

He was still sleeping i place my cup of coffee on a little cupboard beside his bed and lift the covers so i can lay beside him. I kiss his cheek as i listened to his light snores escaping his mouth.

I lowered my head on the pillow and with that he wrapped his arm around me nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck. I play with his hair and kiss his forehead. "Good morning" i whisper and hug him even tighter. "Morning" he mumbles not opening his eyes. "I brought you some coffee" i giggle "thanks but I want you not coffee" he chuckles with his raspy voice which made me kiss his plum lips immediately.

"I know" i smile into the kiss. "He flips me on top of him not breaking our lips apart. "I like your top",he finally pulls away and looks at me .

I giggle pulling it pack up. The white top was tight and it must have slipped few inches down giving him a sneak peek of my red laced bra
5 HOURS LATER

"Where are you going sweetie?" my mom says adjusting her top in the mirror. "Out with Michael"  Calum says tying his shoes. "Oh well have fun" my mom smiles at him.

He opens the door and i follow him "i'm gonna miss you " he pulls me in for a hug "you could use few hours without me" i giggle and kiss his lips.

"Every damn time" Michael groans from the rolled down window of his car. "Suck a dick Michael" i roll my eyes "I would if you'd leave Calum alone" he smirks and we all start laughing I walk over to Michael's car and hug him through the window "why don't you come with us" Michael smiles as i pull away

" i wish i could but my mom insists me to meet her friend from work." i sigh "oh that sucks." i nod " by the way nice top" he smirks. "oh god" i pull my top back up which slipped down as i was leaning down to Michael .i turn to Calum and kiss him on the lips again "have fun" i smile and he smacks my bum .

I watch them as they drive off . once Michael's car disappears around the corner i turn back around "Brook?" i take one step back. I look behind her and notice a middle aged blonde get out of the car giving me a pleasant smile. It looks like she could be her mother. Wait. No. This can't be happening.
