A/N: What's this? Another update this weekend? Yes, your eyes are not tricking you. Since Christine and I took over a month to deliver chapter 16 to you guys, I thought making you wait a couple of weeks for a chapter that was already written would be cruel. I want to thank each and every one of you all that have stuck by us and this book. I know we sometimes take forever to update but school and work have basically taken over both of our lives. Anyways. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. :)

Chapter Seventeen || Addison

Karrie walks into my bedroom, a bottle of Green Tea tucked under her arm and a bag of chips clutched tightly in her hands. She leans against the doorframe, watching me as I rummage through my closet while munching out on Lyla's Doritos.

"She's gonna kill you, you know." I tell her, remembering how just the other night she nearly attacked a girl for throwing up in her chip bag. I glance over my shoulder at my honey blonde friend and catch her grinning at me.

"Lyla loves me," Karrie says, convinced that my best friend won't smack her when she finds out that she ate her chips.

"Lyla loves her Doritos a lot more." I tell her, chuckling as I turn back to my closet. I let my arm fall to my side and turn around, digging my fingers into my hair as I turn away from my clothes and deeply exhale. "What am I supposed to wear?" I ask her. During lunch, Karrie invited Lyla and I to go out with her and a couple of her girl friends to a club in downtown LA. After a lot of convincing on Karrie's side, Lyla and I both agreed.

"Something hot," Karrie replies and I snort out in laughter. "What?" she asks and steps further into my bedroom. "C'mon, Ads, I know for a fact you having something tight in that glorious walk-in closet of yours."

I roll my eyes and walk towards my bed, "What are you going to wear?"

"Whatever hot that I find in your closest," she replies, grinning from ear to ear as she lowers herself and sits on my desk chair. She places her Green Tea on the floor and sticks her hand into the chip bag, popping another cheese flavored tortilla chip into her mouth.

Downstairs, the sound of the front door closing echoes throughout the second floor. "Honey, I'm home," Lyla yells and the clatter of her bag hitting the wooden staircase echoes next.

"In Addy's room!" Karrie yells back, quickly shoving the half eaten bag of chips under my desk. I glare at her, furrowing my brows as I move my gaze between her and the open bag of chips on my floor.

"What the hell are you doing?" I mouth and Karrie widens her eyes and shrugs.

I shake my head and fall back onto my bed. "If I find crumbs under my desk, I'm gonna make you lick them off my freaking carpet." I warn.

Lyla enters my bedroom and holds onto the doorframe with both of her hands. Her hair is tied back into a messy bun and the minimal make-up that she applied this morning was long gone.

"You look like shit," Karrie and I say at the same time, earning a deep glare from our friend in return.

"Are you sure you want to go out tonight?" I ask my best friend.

She nods, "Yeah, we haven't had a girl's night in a while."

"You look sick," Karrie says.

"I'm not sick," Lyla says as she drags her feet across my floor and falls onto my bed, face first, "I'm tired."
