(Go back to when locus first woke up with the kitten lying on his chest in chapter one, otherwise it may confuse you)

Locus stared at the kitten, not really knowing what to do. The cat hadn't really hung out around him much, in fact (y/n) had left him completely alone for her first week here.  Well, aside from when Wash held her up to his face and she stuck a cute little black paw on this nose.

That was the only interaction he'd had with her, since then she usually chased Felix around the house as he dragged a piece of string with a mouse plushie attached to the end. Or, her personal favorite was to sit around Wash's shoulders and bite gently at his blonde hair as he read on his tablet.

When Wash wouldn't give her the attention she was clearly demanding from him, (y/n) would hop down onto his lap.  She would stare at him until he noticed her.  If he took to long to notice her because he was much too absorbed in whatever he was reading, she'd stand on his chest and put a paw on his lips, the place other on his nose.  She'd bat his nose continuously until he finally paid attention to her.

So for the most part, she loved Felix and Wash and had stayed out of Locus's way.  But today was different, (y/n) was lying here on Locus's chest purring her little heart away.  Locus was too scared to move her because he had seen what happened when one of his lovers tried to remove the sleeping kitty off of themselves.

He looked to his right at Felix, who was still asleep, even though the sun was shining on his dark caramel hair.  Locus stared at the mini scratches covered with bandaids all over Felix's face.  Felix had tried to move the cat off of him last night after a movie, (y/n) had hissed a warning at him but Felix hadn't listened..... And then next five minutes had been quite a show for both Wash and Locus.  But that didn't mean that Locus wanted to end up like that, with bandaids stuck all over his face.

Locus gulped and turned his head back just to see that  (y/n) was watching him with slitted green orbs, her paws tucked under her body.  She watched him with an almost quizzical gaze, as if daring him to make a move.  The purring continued and even though Locus would never admit, he was scared shitless.

The kitten yawned, her white nose crinkling up as she did so.  He blinked and she was back to giving him her silent but deadly gaze.  The two just stared at one another.  This went on for quite awhile, (y/n) flicked her long tail and shifted.  She shifted so that she could take a black paw and place it on top of his nose.

Locus looked at her paw, then back up at her eyes.  (Y/n) meowed a soft meow, she didn't remove her paw and continued to purr.  Locus didn't know what to do, he really didn't want to wake up Wash because he had been working late lately and needed all the sleep he could get.  So Locus gently slipped his hand underneath (y/n) she meowed her complaint and reached her paws out to his shoulders as he sat up in the bed.

He frowned, but then placed the black kitty on his shoulder, she curled up around his shoulders underneath his long, dark chocolate hair. He huffed, annoyed that she hadn't given him time to tie it up in his usual low ponytail.  He slipped on some slippers and walked out of the room with cat on his shoulders.

Little did he know that grey eyes were watching him, a small smile placed on the lips of his blonde lover.  Locus yawned as he made the morning coffee, he had to admit, (y/n)'s purring felt really damn good around his neck and shoulders.  'Like a little massage, a nice, warm, and soft massage' he thought to himself.

He sipped the fresh coffee and looked out the window and across the beautiful city of Armonia.  Their penthouse view was all thanks to Locus's job, inherited from his father.  He was an only child and had a very wealthy family.  Samuel Locus Ortez was his full name, why his family picked Locus as middle... Well, he'll never know.

As he continued to look at the city bathed in the morning sun, he felt two arms slip around mid torso.  Wash kissed his cheek. "Morning, I see you and (y/n) are finally getting to know one another?" Wash teased his tall lover, this earned him a deep chuckle and a quick kiss on the forehead.  "She's not so bad... for a kitten," Locus replied smiling softly at Wash, "The coffee's fresh and I made Felix hot chocolate since he hates coffee."  "I don't understand how he doesn't like coffee." Wash said furrowing his brows together in confusion.  "Maybe because it's bitter, tastes like ass, and never gets better no matter how much creamer I put in it."  Felix shuffled into the room, his hair tousled and his eyes puffy.  He had a blanket wrapped around him still.

Felix was, in no way, a morning person.   Felix glanced at the cat curled around Locus shoulders before grabbing his mug of hot cocoa and shuffling over to Locus so he could peck his cheek.  He mumbled a thank you and took a sip of the hot cocoa and sighed.   "Morning (y/n), you little shit.  Messed up my beautiful face."  Felix scratched the kittens head and she grabbed one of his fingers and licked it as if apologizing.  "Apology accepted fur ball." Felix mumbled grinning at the cat like a fool.   "So, lazy day anyone? I don't wanna go anywhere or do anything." Felix asked as he raised a brow at each of his lovers.  Locus and Wash chuckled at each other.  It was a beautiful day.

Locus and Wash were going to go for their daily run shortly.  "When we get back sure, but for now, take (y/n) and go watch your morning cartoons."  Locus said as he placed the complaining kitty around Felix's blanketed shoulders.

(Mini time skip)

Felix sat on the couch, still slowly sipping his hot cocoa with (y/n) on his shoulders.  Wash was waiting for Locus at the door, tying his sneakers.  Locus walked in, wearing his usual black running shirt and dark green shorts.  His hair in its usual pony.  He quick kissed Felix's cheek, but before he could pull away, a black paw was placed on his nose.

(Y/n) licked Locus's cheek, then placed her paw back on Felix's shoulder and purred contently.  'You know (y/n), you're not as bad as I thought you'd be' Locus grinned at the kitten before walking out the door.
