Not very many people would describe Locus as sweet.  No, most people would rather judge him by what he appears to be and the side of him he wants them to see.  The words they say are harsh; cruel, traitor, murderer, machine, heartless.... The list goes on.  Locus was prepared for people like that, not people like (Y/n).

(Y/n) was the only survivor of Chorus, the Reds and Blues had been recovered earlier and currently were tracking down the mercenaries.  Locus had found (Y/n) covered in ash and her own blood.  Her right leg had been stuck under heavy concrete, from a building that had exploded when the chairman had a couple bomb runs done to cities where there might have been survivors.  This poor, beautiful woman had been one of them. It was obvious she'd been there for at least two days.  The only water she had would have had, had come from the downpour the night before.

Locus had approached her, she was lying on her back, the black long sleeve shirt she was wearing was covered in holes and scrapes deep enough to weep scarlet red.  Her dark skinny jeans were torn and bloody.  She had bruises and Locus was surprised the woman still had her leg.  He walked up to her, gun in his hand looking down at her.  She had been scared to look at him. (Y/n) feared he was going to kill her, or worse, leave her here to die slowly.

The man in the green and charcoal armor scoffed at her.  "Unfortunate." That was all he said before he turned to go meet up with another orange and grey merc.  (Y/n) couldn't bear the thought of dying here, slowly and painfully so she mustered all the strength she had to whisper out, "P-Please...  I-I don't... Want to die.... Slowly... Please..."

Locus turned around at what she said, deciding it would be best to put her out of her misery, but he wasn't expecting to meet watery (e/c) eyes.  His heart fluttered and he huffed to get back his lost composure, not that she had even noticed.  The (h/c) haired girl couldn't have been older than 23 and as he began to move back toward her, she closed her eyes tightly, waiting for death's sweet caress to take her.  She wasn't expecting the concrete slab to be lifted off her leg.

Relief and pain hit her at the same time and she cried out when lifted into the green and grey soldier's arms before passing out.  That was how they met.  Now it was three years later.  (Y/n)'s leg was fully functional, and aside from a long scar on the outside of her right calf, it hadn't changed much.  Her heart had though, as had Locus's.

Her road to recovery had been long, and accepting Locus and taking the time to forgive the man who had destroyed her entire planet..... Well, that had taken a little longer.  But oh god, Locus was so good to her.  (Y/n) never thought she'd find a man quite like this.  He always made her feel loved, safe, and protected.

(Y/n) always tried her best to reciprocate the love he gave her.  No matter what though, she always felt like she fell short of that, though of course Locus loved the fact she really put effort into some of the things she did for him.  He thought it was enough, even if she didn't.

One of the things (Y/n) loved about Locus, was he always knew how to make her feel better.  Especially today.   (Y/n) had a terribly stressful day, not to mention it was the anniversary of the day that Chorus was bombed.  The memories haunted her terribly, the pain never ceased to go away.

(Y/n) was tired, and horribly crabby. She wasn't sure how many migraine pills she had to take today at work. She had taken a similar life style to that of her boyfriend, she had too. They were always on the run from freelancers and colorful space marines who had decided they were going to make it their life's goal to kill Felix and Locus. (Y/n) hadn't met them, but she knew why they were doing this, and to put it lightly.... Her boyfriend was the bad guy out of the whole situation.
