For all the peeps out there who wanted a Part two, here it is! Plz forgive me for not updating lately! I've been really busy with school and my cat just had to be put down and lots of other sad and stressful stuff, so it's been hard to keep up with the stories. Plus I've had major writers-block.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Washington's body hurt, he pulled himself off the ground, his head pounding and his mind battered in confusion of (Y/n)'s betrayal.  The worst part was, he was beginning to believe he had much stronger feelings for her than he had previously thought, especially after hearing she was with Felix and Locus intimately.... he stomach churned and he told himself it was the teleportation cubes affecting him but he knew better. He was disgusted and jealous. Wash blinked, refocusing his eyes on an aqua armored solider with a small light blue AI.  Wash was shocked.  "Carolina?"

(Talking to Control)

(Y/n) leaned up against a wall slowly sharpening a dagger Felix had given her when she agreed to do business with them.  A knife flew past her line of vision but, she didn't bother to flinch, she knew Felix was raging. It landed with a hard 'thunk' in the visor of a dead soldier.  Of course Felix had to be throwing a hissy fit right now.  "Ohho, wonderful! Duped by a freelancer posing as one of our own men! Can you taste the irony in that?!?" Felix was too busy making arm gestures to see (Y/n) shake her head in annoyance at her rather prideful, cocky, and smartass of a boyfriend, at least that's the best word she could use to describe the scenario.

Locus looked as though he'd had enough too.  "If you'd have kept your ego under control, they'd be dead by now."  Felix stopped pacing at turned to Locus.  "Okay now we don't have the facts to prove that, alright? So let's not, ya know, start throwing blame around or anything, okay? Please? Thank you? You're welcome?"  Even from where (Y/n) was leaning she could tell Locus was having a hard time keeping his cool. Locus growled at Felix. "Stop, talking."

(Y/n) lifted her head when she heard a now familiar robotic voice come online.  'Gentlemen, and (Y/n), though I'm inclined to further chastise you for your most recent failure, I suggest we focus on the opportunity at hand.'  Felix grabbed his gun off his back and walked forward. "And exactly which opportunity, is that?"  (Y/n) put her knife away and walked up to stand next to Felix, a spare sniper of Locus's in her hands.  'The Reds and Blues are missing... ' Locus cut off the voice.  "It won't be long before my scout team finds them."  'Perhaps. But all that truly matters is that you prevent them from making contact with their armies.'   ( Y/n) and Felix glanced at one another, (Y/n) nodded, signaling Felix she had the alerted the snipers of their new positions.

Felix turned back to the screen.  "We've got snipers shadowing the generals as we speak." 'Marvelous.  Then you are to transport back to your respective armies and report the deaths of the Reds and Blues.  They will become the martyrs needed to push these people towards one, final confrontation.'  Felix began walking over to the dead solider, the dagger buried in his visor. 'Do I make myself clear?'  Felix gave the knife a swift tug, pulling it free of it confines.  "Crystal."

(Major time skip) (sorry)

"FELIX!!!" (Y/n) tried so hard to struggle from the grip that Washington had on her. Felix's scream echoed in her ears as he plummeted to his death. She couldn't believe it. Locus had betrayed them, betrayed her. Why? When the screams finally stopped, she slumped in Wash's arms. Everything from the initial shock had her feeling weak and dizzy at the sight of Felix's death.

Without her even noticing, Wash picked her up bridal style. Locus had left, it had hurt him to leave (Y/n) behind, but he figured that Washington could take care of her just fine. Taking one last look at the beautiful woman who wore the same armor as his, Locus left.

When (Y/n) woke up, she was lying on a bed in a infirmary. Her vision was blurry and her helmet was nowhere to be found. As she sat up, she felt something on her hand, normally she would have just pulled her hand away on instinct. But this was different, Wash's hand was holding her's, his head lied on his arm as he slept. (Y/n) could tell by the dark circles around his eyes that he still hadn't gotten any sleep since she'd last seen him without his helmet on. That was the day she had been rejected by him.

That memory caused her anger to flare and she quickly pulled her hand from Wash, tears starting to sting her eyes at the words he had spoken to her that day. Of course, when she pulled her hand out of his, Wash had woken up. He blinked as he sat up and noticed (Y/n) was sitting up, her arms crossed over her chest plate, her watery (e/c) eyes were looking anywhere but at him.

He started to speak. "(Y/n) I-" "Don't. Save it, I don't need to hear anything more from you. You hurt me once, I won't let it happen again." Wash sat there somewhat shocked and mostly guilty. His heart hurt at the thought that he hadn't even bothered to allow her a simple chance with him. But Wash wasn't sure this feeling truly was love, or if it was just guilt out of how he hurt her. He looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry." Wash mumbled quietly.

(Y/n) snuck a side glance at him. Sighing, she looked at him. (Y/n) may have hated what he did to her, but he had forever wormed his way into her heart and seeing him this sad hurt her almost as much as it hurt him. "Hey Wash?" Wash looked up, hope sparkled in his eyes. "Yeah?" "M-maybe we could start over, will you give me a chance? Will you give us a chance? I know I've done so many bad things but, I was heartbroken."

Wash smiled at (Y/n) and his heart skipped a beat at her words, this sounded so much more like the sweet freelancer he was friends with in the Project. He smiled a true and adorable smile. "Yeah, I'll give us a shot." (Y/n) smiled as she swung her legs over the side of the bed and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Wash's heart fluttered again and he turned soft shade of pink. (Y/n) smiled.

"I'll be waiting on you, Washington."

She didn't know she wouldn't have to wait long.
