Liam and i are having our dinner here at the bay side resto and grill bar. With some beach fire dancers to entertain us guests.

" You like it here Lei?"

"yes , I love their fresh grilled squid embotido"

" me too. Also this giant crab, want some?"

" uhh. Im allergic to crabs eh.. "

Actually, parang hindi nga dinner date kase nagchichill lang kami. May band na tumutogtog sa stage ng reggae, we're drinking some light vodka. Hindi ako pamilyar sa name kase si liam ang nagorder. Lasang melon and strawberry..

As i thought that everything is doing well...

I realize, its not.

Unfortunately, while liam and i are enjoying our food someone approach him.

And i think its not just 'someone'.

" William? Is that you?"

" yes, who are you?"

" Its chastine! Chastine arevalo we met at way back in UK. When our parents sets this dinner, and they introduce us to one another, remember?"
She said in her most maarte-tone

" a bit busy, its been years right?"

Buti pa sya. Napapansin ako.

" uhh Yeah, this is Lei my special friend."

She extended her hand. I just look at it. Nawala na talaga ako sa mood, ang ganda na eh. Dinner date at the seashore, with a hottie and then poof!

I stood up, sinubo ko pa yung last na bite nung food ko kase sayang tapos walk-out scene.

" w-wait lei" - liam called.

But i dont mind looking back at him.
Nagtatakbo ako sa kung saan, de.

Dumiretso ako sa hotel room namin at kinuha ko yung pouch ko nandun kase yung wallet at iOs tapos lumabas agad. I dont care kung hahanapin nya ko, im going somewhere here basta makalayo ako!

Sino ba naman ang gugustuhin ng ganon? I mean, yung feeling na nakakita ka lang ng iba nakalimutan nya ng kasama nya ako.

Tapos ...hindi naman sa pag aasume pero parang ganoon na nga, nag expect ako ng medyo sweet na pagpapakilala. Like, ako yung date nya, girl he likes. Tipong proud syang kasama ako. Mahirap ba yun? Hindi naman ako pinaka nao-offend sa 'special friend' na sinabi nya, dun lang sa part na hindi na nga nya ako halos pinansin tapos ganun pa. Tapos heto hindi talaga nya pinush na habulin ako.
