♔ Physical Description: King Artheur is an unusual king. With no taste for fineries or riches, he could almost pass for a commoner in his own city, if not for the guards surrounding him. He's built strong, having fought many wars in his time, and every movement he makes is sturdy and true. The King's blue eyes shine with honesty, and a genuine care for every citizen under his reign. He dresses modestly, and is often unornamented and missing his crown, much to his lady love's distress. King Artheur sports a small beard that always seems to be a lighter brown than that of his hair. But most important is his smile. Despite having commanded his armies through the hellish battles of war, our beloved king has not yet lost his smile, and to see it can almost be considered a symbol of good luck in Elusia.

♔ Personality: The king is a jovial man. Fond of parties and laughter, he leads his people through both humor and respect. He is a wise man, often looking at any situation from a point of view that few others would see. King Artheur enjoys his reign, along with all of his subjects, and cares deeply for each of them. As a devout man, his Majesty believes that there is good in every person. From the most notorious criminal to the smallest child, he loves and protects every citizen of Elusia with an iron fist. Although in times it may be difficult, he tries his best to keep his laws fair and rule justly, taking into consideration the effects his decisions will make on the people he loves.

♔ Past: Born the fifth son in a line of ten, Artheur never expected to take the throne. He was raised in the castle, where he spent long hours exploring and climbing with friends both royal and common. He studied hard in the ways of a prince, and hoped to one day retire to a small fortress by the mountains where he could raise his family as a Duke. In his leisure time, the young prince loved to explore the nearby town and collected quite a few loyal men along the way. However, when a plague swept across the land, the old king contracted the illness. That sickness then spread through the castle like wildfire, contaminated all the staff, and more importantly--the royal family. Only three out of Artheur's ten siblings survived the ordeal, and the young prince took the throne in a time of chaos and plague. He commanded his people through difficult times, and steered them away from the brink of destruction. When the turmoil was over, the people of Elusia claimed him a hero, and the grandest celebration was held. That was where he found his first wife, Elieen. The two were married, and had one beautiful son and one lovely daughter before she too passed away into the next life. Now, remarried and wise, the King rules Elusia through times of peace and war, and hopes for nothing more than for them to prosper.

♔ What they're looking for in a Knight: The king will choose one who resembles both himself, and what he believes to be the characteristics of a true knight. You will have to be bold to try and win his favor, yet the rewards are staggering.

♔ What Gifts He Will Give: His Royal Majesty will choose only one champion, and that person will have the most coveted spot in all the land. He will offer help and advice at any time throughout the tasks, and will proofread one entry before it is sent in, to give assistance on what could be improved. Additionally, you will receive one automatic score of 14, to be used before the semi-finals, and have the option to accept or decline any ballot challenge you are offered. The King has also put in a safety net for his champion, that prevents you from receiving a score lower than 10, until the semi-finals.
