Character Name: Killian Henry

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Birthplace: Oceaf

Physical Appearance: Killian is the ocean's boy, through and through. His salt-soaked hair glows golden, falling to his shoulders before it stops in sea-tangled waves that are usually wet, drawn off his face by a dark leather band. His eyes are deep blue and the light falls through them in waves and rays, like it does in underwater pools where the water is clear as crystal and sky-blue. Many people are taken in by the way his eyes glow, and the way his smile shines, despite it not being the cleanest or the widest. It sits in a narrow face that seems out of place next to Killian's broad-shouldered body, years of shipwork building his strong shoulders and muscular arms to the tanned boulders that they are now. From his outward appearance, you'd expect him to sink, not swim, but swim he does, diving through the water like he was born to be there.

Personality: Killian may seem dangerous, and indeed he is, if you insult him or steal something from him. Thieves have no honor, and Killian is an honorable man. He keeps his distance from the painted ladies of the street, instead doing his work well and keeping his heart honest. He still enjoys a good party and is very sociable, making friends easily with his smile and deep, rumbling laugh. He's more likely to be around people than not, and would never compromise his integrity for anything.

Past: A honest man doesn't have to have an honest past - this much, Killian knows. He and his two older brothers were once street rats, stealing gold and silver from the rich men that rode the streets and ignoring the Golden Rule - do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Stealing was the only thing he thought himself good at, until one of the King's knights, an older knight named Harvey, caught him one day, elbow deep in a woman's purse, and told him what he was doing.

It wasn't an instant change; it took years for Killian's fingers to stop itching when he spotted earrings dangling or brooches calling out to him. The knight watched over him whenever he was able to visit his own hometown of Oceaf, though, and helped him find his first job at a tavern, then a ship, then apprentice to a builder and loader on the docks. Killian runs the business with the builder's son, now, and he does well.

He's had his eye on one of the girls that come down to flirt with the sailors and workers, Avalon, for a few months, but never worked up the courage to talk to her. Somehow, his friends are far easier to communicate with than a female.

He never planned on becoming a knight, but once he saw the request, and remembered old Harvey, that he applied.

Skills: A very good swimmer and strong in general, Killian could also probably do some of the finer things that he may need, like picking a lock or lifting bracelets, with ease. His fair share of fights has given Killian a good right hook and passable fighting skills, and he can also lie with the best of them, but never would - at least, that's what he plans.

Strengths: Killian is honest, fair, and a great friend. He knows when to back down from fights, but also knows the right things to fight about. It wouldn't be hard for him to make friends throughout challenges, due to his size and smile. His mental prowess and his physical strength are nothing to be ashamed of either.

Weaknesses: His past is one thing - he dislikes people learning about how he managed to survive, even since he's moved on from it. He's also not the best with pretty girls, but ones he can make friends with might take him down just as easily. Killian can also be a bit too honest, despite his best intentions, and trusting the right people is hard when you trust everyone.

Queen Melinda: Mm. I don't know what to think of you, boy, aside from the fact that I like you.

Roland Delmere: Such a sticky past just may lead to an even stickier end. Tread carefully...

Sir Thomas: I see a brave man and a good knight in your heart. Make me proud.

Sir Adeline: Theif skills are not needed here. You best be better at fighting. I need to trust you if you're going to be working here.
