RULES
1. A Knight does not bicker with or harass his/her fellow comrades.
♔ We understand that this is a competition and things can get tense, but don't take it overboard. It's not fun for you, it's not fun for me, and it's not fun for anyone else.
2. A Knight does not form alliances for the sole purpose of removing another Knight.
♔ Forming a large group to gang up on one individual writer is NOT allowed. We know in some games it is, but here it is not. Seriously, we're all mature here and can handle a little competition.
3. A Knight does not complain once eliminated.
♔ If you get eliminated, remember that it is never anything personal. Sometimes, that's just the way it goes. All of our judges swear to be 100% unbiased on every task and to every player. We do not pick favorites. We do not make things easier on people just because we like them outside of the Games. Saying such a thing will, however, make this a very bumpy ride for us all. If you feel like one of our judges is being unfair to you or that you were eliminated unfairly, then you may privately message either them personally, or this account.
4. A Knight pays attention to the regulations of scribes.
♔ Please, follow the entry formatting guidelines. It is designed to make it easy on us. And, in turn make it easier on you because you get your scores back faster. They'll be more on this later on.
5. A Knight does not seek the pity of others.
♔ If you are up for elimination, you are NOT allowed to beg for people to vote for you. If we hear about this, you will be automatically eliminated with no exceptions.
6. A Knight is punctual.
♔ Failure to hand in a task leads to an automatic zero in score. Simple as that.
7. A Knight knows when to ask for help.
♔ If something's not right, or something doesn't make sense, you are always free to ask us. We're not just here to score, you know. If you are unable to meet a deadline because of personal reasons/circumstances beyond your control, send us a message before the deadline, and we'll do our best to give you an extension. Although, unlike our previous Games, we're going to be much more strict on the uses of extensions. Full 24-hour extensions will not be given unless it is an emergency.

Grading Rubric:
0: You didn't turn it in.
1-3: You did very little work or your writing was poor. Poor writing includes bad characterization, bad dialogue and little to no effort put into it. If you only write one paragraph and turn that in, it will immediately be placed here, no matter how good it is.
4-6: Your writing reflected minimal effort. If you fall here, you have bad characterization, and dialogue, or a bit more effort placed into it.
7-9: Your work was average at best, but something's still missing, or you definitely need to get your head in the game.
10-12: This is the range we expect most of you to fall under. Any less and we will be disappointed. Getting a lower score does not mean you are a bad writer, but that you did not try hard enough to apply yourself. A score in this range reflects a good amount of time and effort put into each task.
13-14: Your writing goes above and beyond, but still needs a little push to perfection.
15: Seek out a publisher.
